An interesting post by John Glennon of the Tennessean who reports that the Titans have scheduled exactly zero two-a-day practices for training camp.
The idea behind it is to make sure coach Jeff Fisher's team isn’t physically worn down by the time the Titans break camp. Glennon rhetorically asks if the theory works, but answers by saying it’s unclear, because, using the same theory, Tennessee started 10-0 in 2008 but 0-6 last year.
I know one thing. As a media member who’s endured plenty of two-a-days on hot, sticky days, I’d say the Titans beat writers are awfully lucky indeed.
