Belichick refutes Moss incidents

Earlier today, we brought you the story about how Randy Moss ignored Patriots coach Bill Belichick on the plane ride home from Miami. Those were the words of former New England WR Troy Brown who said Moss didn’t talk to anybody who tried to talk to him.

This afternoon, Belichick said that was untrue.

In an impromptu news conference called by Belichick – a rarity – he made the claim that there were no off-the-field incidents with Moss and that the allegations that said otherwise were incorrect.

“Absolutely not true,” Belichick told reporters, including the Boston Herald. “A total fabrication. I didn’t even talk to Randy on the plane.”

Belichick also said that in four years, he never had a problem with Moss, and he said Moss was a pleasure to coach.

So, take that for what it’s worth. Especially that last line.

Bill........Do you think we are buying that BS?? It is obvious to the whole NFL community that there was and issue!  You never talked to Randy on the plane?? No kidding!! Maybe because you knew that he was gone! Maybe because you felt like an a hole for no looking his way 1 single time! I watched the whole game and Brady's eyes! He never even looked Moss's way a single time! That my friend did not come from Tom Brady! He is smarter then that!  You had a problem with Moss so you traded him.....Now you really have a problem! Who is your new deep threat?? Vincent Jackson? Good luck with that! Bye the time he is ready to rock-n-roll you are out of the playoff hunt!! It will take Brady time to get his timing down with anyone joining the team from outside the current organization! Real bed move.......actually real bad timing!

I actually have Brady and I will be very cautious with him now. He will no longer be an elite QB without a deep threat! Might have to play the match-ups. Might have to play Eli more than I wanted to.
