Vince Young probably won't start

It's looking like K. Collins will get the chance to start for Tennessee this Sunday (Getty). Posted by Josh Katzowitz

If the amount of snaps one takes at a Friday practice indicates who will take the field on Sunday afternoons – and usually, it very much does – don’t be surprised if backup Kerry Collins starts in place of Titans starter Vince Young this Sunday vs. the Dolphins.

Young has been dealing with an ankle injury, and he didn’t practice Wednesday. He was limited Thursday, and though he took some snaps Friday, Collins had the majority of them with the first team. Titans coach Jeff Fisher said Young will be a gametime decision, but unless his ankle improves dramatically in pregame warmups, look for Collins to take over.

“We'll warm him up and see how he does,'' said Fisher, according to the Tennessean.

Young hurt himself two weeks ago, and though Tennessee had a bye last week – affording Young plenty of rehab and rest – he still can’t shake the injury.

Of course, the other big news is that Randy Moss will make his first appearance in a Titans uniform. Though you might think Moss would rather take throws from the actual starter, he and Collins have a history together. Both played for the Raiders in 2005, and after practice Friday, they spent extra time together working on their on-field chemistry.

Apparently, that was Moss’ idea.

"We just needed some extra time just to work on a couple of things that we really didn't get to as much as we would've liked during the week,'' Collins said. "But he kind of showed what he's about, that he is

Young isn't a formidable NFL QB, dude gets hurt too often.

That's funny, because he beat your Cowboys and the Giants of the other VY-hater on this thread. It's okay, though, keep sippin' your haterade while Kitna throws interceptions and leads the Cowgirls to a 1-15 season and the #1 pick in the 2011 draft...even the Bills should get 2 or 3 wins.

Why is this such a "surprise"?  Young isn't a formidable NFL QB, dude gets hurt too often.  How much Super Bowl exp. does Young vs. Collins have?  Yeah, go with Collins.  How old is Collins, 45?  LOLOL
