Plenty of folks are salivating the prospect of a scrambling Vince Young uncorking deep balls to Randy Moss, but the hope of seeing the two might have to wait a week, as Kerry Collins will start for the Titans on Sunday.

Young's been dealing with an ankle injury ever since the Titans Monday night thumping of the Jaguars, and was limited in practice this week, leading to speculation that this could happen.

Interestingly, Jeff Fisher and Co. elected not to rest Young (who missed Tennessee's win against the Eagles when Collins had a coming out party for Kenny Britt) against San Diego before their bye ... when he re-injured his ankle.

Using the amazing superpower of 20/20 hindsight, it sure does seem like pushing Young to return against in San Diego -- a game that the Titans ultimately lose -- wasn't the smartest move.
