Unfortunate news coming out of Tennessee Wednesday: Titans offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger will undergo chemotherapy for cancer. Jeff Fisher informed the Titans players after learning of the news Wednesday morning.
Fisher asked the media and fans to send prayers for Heimerdinger. Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean says Heimerdinger was at the Titans facility for meetings. However, Fisher has said that offensive line coach Mike Munchak and quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains will assume Heimerdinger’s responsibilities.
