Terrell Owens done for the season

In the first quarter of the Bengals-Browns game today, volatile Cincinnati WR Terrell Owens pulled up lame after pivoting in the middle of running a route. He limped off the field and was lost for the game.

And now, apparently, the season as well.

According to the Bengals official Twitter feed, Owens said he has a torn meniscus and is done for the season.

Which is unfortunate, because though he’s made so much noise this year with his obnoxious comments off the field, he had a surprisingly good season for the Bengals. He overshadowed Chad Ochocinco as the team’s No. 1 receiver, recording 72 catches for 983 yards and nine touchdowns.

He also said he’d return for 2011, but it’s unclear where he’ll play.

Good riddance TO!  In his 49er days this guy had the chance to become realistically the best receive of all time.  Playing with Rice he could have learned how to be a professional.  Instead he went the other way and became a spoiled baby who wasted his best years.  What's next?  An NBA tryout?

T.O's chances of playing again next year are getting slimmer. If he could just get a criminal record during the offseason, I think he would cement a place on the Bungal roster. Bungal criteria=criminal record, disruptive on previous teams, tail end of career.

People throw around the word Primadonna way too much...anyone know what a freaking Primadonna is? Some iliterates call Favre a primadonna...Owens. These are not primadonna's...

the term "prima donna" has come into common usage in any field denoting someone who behaves in demanding, often temperamental, fashion revealing an inflated view of themselves, their talent, and their importance.

TO's has shown some of these skills in his past....this year? last year? Answer: NO! Favre has he EVER shown any of these? NOPE, NEVER...was he indecisive at times, hell ya!!!!!!!!!!! especially on his retirement issue. But other then that....nothing but a professional athlete.

People throw that term around way too much and have no clue what it means. Lets hope I have enlightened some of you.
