Favre decision coming soon

Expect the NFL finally to rule on the Brett Favre/Jenn Sterger incident within the next 48 hours, and according to various media reports – some of which have been out there for a few weeks now – he won’t be suspended.

NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora, though, has determined a ceiling for how much Favre could be fined. According to La Canfora, the fine from the league won’t exceed $50,000 and, in fact, could be less.

So, a decision that won’t be noted for its swiftness could be remembered for its unremarkable penalty.

Somewhere, James Harrison is seething.

GL, Deanna-you deserve better than a husband who feels the need to prove himself with others, when all these years he's had a loving, devoted partner. I hope you find better than that in the days to come, and can learn to trust in someone who's lucky enough to have the likes of you.

please do it with correct grammmar
Really?  Grammmar?  If you are going to look like a jerk off  and correct someone else it helps to not make your own mistakes.   I hope you are not the spelling and grammar police because if you are we are in big trouble.

@moviking80, while I agree with most of your message, I also have to mention how big of a dumbazz you are. If you're trying to call someone out, please do it with correct grammmar and proper spelling. If not, you look like the bigger of the two jackazzes. I'm not the spelling and grammar police, just sayin bud.

I also foresee Jenn Sterger's legal team dropping a lawsuit on the NFL for somekind of mental duress, anguish and depression.

Sterger's legal team can then threaten to bring Favre into court and ask him, point blank, about the pictures in question. Judge Joe Brown will reside and the hearing will be broadcast of CourtTV.

Goodell will then ask Favre to save the league some embarrassment and settle out of court. Favre will refuse on council from his wife, who refuses to give away any of her divorce settlement to the former Jets vixen.

This could be better than the first and second OJ trials.

Happy New Year!

Peace.

Favre decision coming soon

The biggest winner in all of this Brett Favre mess is going to be Jenn Sterger. I am sure her people are lining up the tabloids for the exclusive rights to her first post-ruling interview at no less than six figures, and you can't rule out an appearance in Playboy. The biggest loser in this is Deanna Favre because unfortunately you have people that are going to chastise her about Brett's trangressions wherever she goes due to his public persona. The biggest jerk in all of this not Favre but old commissioner wishy-washy Roger Goodell who looked weak throughout this whole situation, and it is now to a point that whatever ruling he hands down it is going to be mocked and scorned.

If Goodell was serious about doing something, he wouldn't have waited until Favre was pretty much done. What kind of suspension is he going to impose on him if any?

If Jenn Sterger didn't leave her job or get booted out because of this, I think it will be hard to get a harrassment suit through, but when you talk of a washed up player, is this really that significant?
