Harbaugh drama getting almost Favreish

Jim Harbaugh is becoming the new Brett Favre. The man is constantly trailed by rumors about where he’ll be come next season. The Dolphins are out. The Panthers can’t pay. The Brown will likely want a “Holmgren guy”. The Raiders are a joke (Harbaugh would know – he was an assistant on that staff a few years ago.) The Broncos are likely everybody’s fallback option.

This essentially leaves the 49ers – the NFL team Harbaugh originally flirted with all along. Jay Glazer of FOX Sports sent this tweet just after midnight Thursday (or would that be Friday?....anyway, you get the idea): "Strong signal outta SF that Harbaugh is in strong talks w Niners to get a deal done 2nite over 6 mil per. But w this guy could change again"

The this guy could change again part proved prescient, as Glazer’s next tweet read, “Now hearing Stanford upped their offer considerably for Harbaugh and he's leaning that way now. Ya know what? Wake me when it's over w him.”

Who knows when that will be…

Harbaugh drama getting almost Favreish

Not to kick a dying dog when its down, but is it the subject that makes this a "favre-ish" incident, or is it the inpatient media's incessant need to have anything to post or spit out?

I never thought Favre's waffling was an issue... I always thought the media's pounding us with speculations and false stories and obnoxious Anonymous sources was the problem.

Harbaugh drama getting almost Favreish

Good point. To my knowledge, I haven't seen a single statement by Harbaugh
So the breakdown appears to be:
Media - 100%
Harbaugh - 0%

=Media whores trying to manufacture news
