M. Lynch (US Presswire)
We knew the 12th Man at Qwest Field was loud -- the reports out of the Pacific Northwest Saturday afternoon verifies that it's just plain ridiculous. According to Seattle’s FOX Q 13, the roar from the home crowd during Marshawn Lynch’s epic 67-yard touchdown run against the Saints on Saturday caused a small earthquake.

The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network recorded a slight tremor at 4:43 p.m. PT Saturday from an old monitoring system located near the former site of the Kingdome. That’s almost precisely the time of Lynch’s run.

PNSN scientists believe this is the first tremor ever caused by Qwest Field. If Seattle somehow hosts Green Bay in the NFC Championship, it might not be the last.

I don't remember Bennett coming out in the supplemental draft.  If he did then yes Seattle took the wrong guy.  It is just too bad Bosworth came to Seattle as damaged goods.  I would have liked to see what he contributions would have been if healthy.  He did give us some decent performances, just never lived up to the hype.

Jackson vs Bosworth

Bosworth was drafted with damaged shoulders, he couldn't have tackled my blind grandmother with bum shoulders . . . the Seahawks should have drafted Cornelius Bennett instead of Bosworth.

Marshawn Lynch's run was literally ground shaking

Bo Jackson did the same thing on the regular.  Remember when he effectively ended the "Boz's" career on the goal line?

Uh, no.  Jackson broke one tackle on his, what, 5 yard run?  That doesn't even belong in the same breath as this run.  Would not even be remembered if he hadn't ran crazy all night on Monday Night Football.  If I remember right, on the play everyone remembers him running up the tunnel he wasn't even touched.

Bosworth came in way too high and got beat, but take another look at the play - stuff like that happens every week.  This play didn't "effectively end" Bosworth's career any more than it ended Jackson's since they were both out of the league in a couple of years.  This was Bosworth's rookie year, BTW.  He was hurt the following year and that's what led to his early retirement - nothing whatosever to do with the goal line play.  Revisionist history can be fun, but it doesn't hurt to have the real story either.

As my name implies - i am a Rams' fan - but I have to give Mr. Lynch big time credit.  When he knocked that defender back about 8 feet - wow.  Sure - some of the EIGHT  tackle attempts were weak - but come on - that was an amazing run!!!

You mention to run in your statement and call them Man Runs.. That's funny seeing how on both of those runs were those RB's even touched? I mean c'mon kid.
