Prepare for one of those Russian-esque, 20-minute national anthems on Super Bowl Sunday. Multiple media outlets (OK, gossip websites) are reporting that Christina Aguilera will be the one taking center stage prior to kickoff on February 6 in Arlington.
USA Today’s Ann Oldenburg writes, “A spokesperson from the NFL had ‘no comment’ on Aguilera's participation, according to Hitflix, but Gossip Cop says it has been confirmed by a source close to the singer. Aguilera's spokesperson said she could not confirm it to (USA Today’s) Lifeline Live at this time.”
If it is Aguilera, be prepared for an opening line that will go something like this: Oooohhhhhh saaaaaaaaayyyyyy can you seeeeeeeeee----eeeeeee----aaaaaa---
-eeeeeee---aaaa---eeeeee---aaaaaa--
---ohsaycanyousee!---canyousee!----canyouseeeeeeeeee----aaaaaa----
