Would the Panthers really consider drafting a cornerback first overall?

Start the protests: Falcons are raising club seat ticket prices in 2011 by four percent.

The NFLPA is taking its case to the television airwaves.

Former Raiders center Jeremy Newberry says the Seahawks offensive linemen are in for a rude awakening given Tom Cable’s intensity.

Michael Vick has certainly been enjoying his return to Hawaii this week. (Everyone who follows him on Twitter knows that.)

The Bears must make a decision about what they want to do with RFA Caleb Hanie. Paying him to be the backup would make the most sense. There might be a team out there foolish enough to give the young guy Charlie Whitehurst type money, but that would require giving up draft picks as well.

TMZ has video of Jay Cutler and his celebrity girlfriend (Kristin Cavallari) walking around Los Angeles. Watch and see if you can spot a limp.

Maurice Jones-Drew apologized for his Cutler tweet. He’s also spending the next four months rehabbing his own knee injury, by the way.

Ben Volin of Palm Beach Post tells Dolphins fans not to get their hopes up for landing Palmer, Orton or Kolb.

A whole bunch of Saints are dealing with offseason surgeries.

The Jets won’t let the Raiders talk to secondary coach Dennis Thurman about the defensive coordinator job in Oakland. Thurman’s name has also been mentioned in Philadelphia.

I think most people have little doubt that Jay was injured. In the TMZ video, he does look like he is favoring his right leg as he is walking. You can even notice his right foot turned slightly outward probably to alleviate some of the discomfort. I don't think that's what's got most peoples panties bunched up. However, I will recap the same thing I was blathering about before the Sunday games started. I was telling my wife and sons how this particular game, the game prior to a championship, was the game I always loved. It was the one absolute time that you were 100% certain that every player was going to give every single ounce they had on every single play. You could guarantee that every one of your teammates would step in front of a bus or take a bullet if they had to to put you in to the next game. There is no way a little pain is going to distract any one of them. You would have to kill me to get me off the field. -- This is probably a fairly accurate paraphrase, but I can't guarantee I didn't use a few other choice words for emphasis. But the sentiment is accurate. I was trying to express how hyped up you are staring that opportunity in the face. It's the last obstacle. You do whatever it takes. Period. I think there are plenty of other players out there that can recognize and probably agree with feeling similar to that assessment. That being said, Jay didn't look like he had that desire. I can't say at all what was in his heart and I'm not the kind of person to pretend I can, but I think that's the thing most people "saw". It "looked" as if he just kind of cut his day short because he was having a bad day and his knee hurt. Now before you go and explain how he "couldn't" play and tell me why I'm wrong, take a look at a few of these guys and tell me that Jay Cutler has the same heart. They are all examples of what the people that are complaining are looking for. Right or wrong.

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-ne

The Panthers need help on both sides of the ball, but I don't see what's wrong with a cornerback in the first round, but not a first pick overall, but stranger things have happen, look at the Texans picked up a DE and he's paned out pretty well for them, so I can see them going in that direction.

Falcons - lol, should have seen this coming....lol

NFLPA - be careful most people think you make too much anyway....and don't want to see you make more!

Seahawks - you are getting a warning from the Raiders.....the biggest bullies (in their hayday) now telling you to be careful....lol yo might want to listen to them.....think they bit off more than they can chew?

ALOHA! & MAHALO! Welcome back to Hawaii Vick!

BEARS - this isn't hard....PAY HIM! He proved himself in one of the biggest games for you this year when you starter and 2nd string both bailed on you. I think he knows Martz system better than both QB's in front of him

TMZ - WHO CARES!!! EVERYONE HAS SAID WHAT THEY WANTED TO SAY ABOUT CUTLER! IT'S OVER! GO FIND SOMETHING ELSE GOSSIP ABOUT!!!

Dolphins - Well the owners of the Bengals said Palmer is NOT on the trading table! Good luck with Kolb, he knows and showed he can play he just needs a team with some protection....Orton may be your best bet sinc Tebow mania is kicking into overdrive in Denver

Saints - really so is the superdome stadium roof

Jets - Good job Jets, don't let someone who knows your team and players go to a rival! You have an awesome secondary, send him to Philly, completly different confrence and right down the street
