  • The NFL has agreed to unseal some documents in the media fees case after the NFLPA requested it. They didn't unseal all of the documents requested by the NFLPA, however. That's cool, though, because, you know, negotiations are about compromise. AHEM.
  • The Packers are raising ticket prices by $2-$4 per game next year, though it's not supposed to mess with their sellout streak. They are the defending world champs after all.
  • The Steelers might consider using their transition tag on Ike Taylor, who would probably fetch a pretty penny on the open market. And who's departure would be not good for a Steelers' secondary that struggled a lot last year.
  • Not NFL-related, but I wish that someone would make more sandwiches for football players. I love sports-related sandwiches. This Carmelo Anthony one just makes no sense, unless it's symbolizing the level of annoyance with 'Melo by the time he was finally traded.

Too bad no one on your team knows how to tackle. It aint a free uncapped year either like it was last year. Now the Jesters have to play by the rules.

Cromartie in a straight away is fine which is why he can cover the deep threats, but Cromartie gets beat every time his man makes a move. When it comes to covering guys that run the quick cut routes hes sub par. He may have the straight away speed but he's slow when it comes to agility and quickness. I would love to see Cromartie cover Welker.

Is someone actually using the worst arguement in history regarding Urlacher not being HOF worthy?  The ring arguement???  For a defensive player no less???  Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Andre Tippett, Derrick Thomas, Eric Dickerson,......Off the top of my head, that's a few Hall of Famers without rings.

I will admit that he definitely benefited from playing behind 700lbs worth of beef in front of him almost his whole career.  And he's only got 2 seasons with over 100 tackles.   But besides Ray Lewis, he's been the top guy at his position for a decade.

If Andre Tippett is HOF worthy, how can Urlacher not be???

Maybe Cromartie covering the slot receivers.
Cromartie would get torched by quick slot receivers. The Jets traded for Cromartie to cover (or attempt to cover) the tall deep threat receivers in their division aka, Brandon Marshall, Lee Evans, formerly Randy Moss not Wes Welkers, and Davon Bess. Cromartie is way too slow and doesn't have the fundamentals to stay with those guys, he has height and the ability to fights for a ball in the air.

NNamedi will be returning to the silver and black. Urlacher is a HOF, questioning his toughness by calling him injury prone is just silly. As previously noted he played 16 games 9 out of 11 years cant believe hes being mentioned as injury prone.

Urlacher should also be considered above Ray Lewis because...well, he isn't a murderer?

I think Asomagua(?) who look nice on the other side Revis. Maybe Cromartie covering the slot receivers. Imagine that, no passing attempts completed against that group !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I take that back in his 11 year career he has played 16 games 9 out of the 11 years.  How is that injury prone?  Freak wrist injury last year cost him the season and he missed 7 games in '04 because of leg injuries.  Is that injury prone playing middle linebacker for 11 years?

During the NFC Championship game vs. the Packers he had an interception, Sack and three tackles for losses.  He tried to win that game by himself.

If you look at his 11 year career he has not been injured to badly.  He had a freak wrist injury week 1 of last year that cost him the whole season.  He has also missed bits of two other seasons with leg injuries.  Over a 11 year period it has not been that bad.

This thread is stupid though.  Packers fans will say no way and Bears fans will say of course he should be.  Watch that NFC championship game and tell me he shouldn't be a HOF.  He is 32 and still dominating.
