Back in January, Lawrence Taylor pled guilty to sexual misconduct and having sex with an underage prostitute.

On Tuesday, he was sentenced by the New York court system to six years of probation. Taylor will also be required to follow the rules that apply to sex offenders, though the level of his status won't be determined until April 12, at a hearing.

Allred would not say if the girl plans a lawsuit against Taylor, but said, "We look forward to representing her as she continues her fight for justice."

She said Taylor "should be in the hall of shame, not the Hall of Fame."

The girl was 16 - under the age of consent - when she met Taylor last May. Speaking outside the Rockland County Courthouse, she denied she was a prostitute and said another man, whom she called Rasheed, forced her to go into Taylor's Montebello hotel room by punching her in the face.

She said Taylor should have been able to tell she had been beaten and that she was underage.

"I believe Mr. Taylor could see my face and how young I was," she said. "I did what he told me to do because I was afraid what would happen if I didn't."

She added, her voice breaking, "I am upset that he will not go to jail for what he did to me."

The girl arrived with celebrity lawyer Allred, who described her as "a sex-trafficking victim." The girl, now 17, has been identified in court and by Allred only by the initials C.F.

The judge in the case ruled, however, that such statements are only permissible in cases involving felonies, and Taylor was being sentenced based on a pair of misdemeanors.

Taylor said when he pleaded guilty that the girl told him she was 19. His attorney, Arthur Aidala, said Tuesday that Taylor "did not intend to patronize a prostitute who was under legal age."

He apologized on Taylor's behalf to Taylor's wife, family and fans.

Aidala criticized Allred for exposing the girl to the public eye, saying, "This young woman is being victimized once again."

All sex offenders have to report their addresses annually and report changes within 10 days.

Aidala persuaded the judge to modify some of the probation restrictions generally imposed on sex offenders. For example, the judge said Taylor would be allowed to bring his young son to school or to a park. He also agreed to a 1 a.m. curfew for Taylor instead of 11 p.m.

In addition, Taylor will be permitted to serve his probation in Broward County, Fla., where he lives.

Kelly offered Taylor a chance to speak in court before the sentencing but Taylor declined, saying, "I'm fine, judge."

Yes except one thing Redwins Taylor KNEW the girl was underage, he was TOLD she was, smiled and then did the deed ANYWAY!

Why are you making things up as you go along??   There is ZERO evidence that says Taylor knew she was 16.  Taylor officially stated the girl told him she was 19..... not 16.    Just because YOU believe he knew doesn't make it a fact.......   I'm not going to believe for one second that L.T knew she was underage.... not a chance.  There are way too many young but legally of age prostitutes out there, why in God's name would he intentionally choose a 16 year old when he could have a 19 year old with the snap of his fingers?   Because YOU said so???
Here's the bottom line.  L.T's committed two crimes.  One was paying a woman for sex which is illegal where he did it....  and number 2 was having sex with an underage girl even though there is no proof he knew she was underage.  The penalty they gave him fits the crime.... if they could prove he knew she was 16 trust me, he wouldn't be on probation right now... he'd be in solitary confinement somewhere with his ass cheeks clenched praying somebody doesn't get at him....

Lawrence Taylor receives 6 years probation

I am proud of several things in my life, one is that I was born and raised primarily in The United States of America. The other is that I was able to serve in the armed forces of the United States of America.
Good for you. Want a cookie?

In this country we have certain rights and privileges. One of those is the right to an opinion and to express those opinions. If I have a problem with the way our current president is running the country I can express my opinion and disagree with the way he is running the county. I don’t have to worry about being arrested or killed.
Yep. Just educate yourself on the matter before telling us all your asinine opinion.

You have a right to your opinion and to express that opinion in any way you so desire. I might not even like your opinion and would say so. My not liking your opinion does not diminish the fact that you can make this opinion known.
Thanks...

You might not like my opinion and apparently you don’t. This is your right and privilege. I respect your right to do so.
I don't. Anyone who read the article and acts as if it were two consenting adults, was dropped on their head at some point. Probably more than once actually.

What you don’t  have the right to do is to tell me to keep my opinion to myself.
I just did.

@IronBreaker

"What L.T. did I have no problem with. He was paying for services that this girl was willing to perform. Both were willing participates in this endeavor. No one would get hurt mentally or physically."

Did you even read the article? The girl got punched in the face and thrown into his room. Willing? No one would get hurt??

Kind of like christians getting fed to the lions I suppose. They willingly walked in the arena, at spear point... and certainly didnt get hurt.

Keep it to yourself. At least until you learn about reading comprehension.

Yes except one thing Redwins Taylor KNEW the girl was underage, he was TOLD she was, smiled and then did the deed ANYWAY!
Like I said when I characterized it as "Makes her sweeter", there's NO reason he should have gotten just probation, the mere fact that he vioated probation, was smug abot the whole incident just shows that he was perfectly ok with what he did however illegal.
Yes prostitution shouldn't be illegal so long as it's done in such a manner that the provider is not being coerced or physically harmed in any way, it should be legal but much like smoking pot it isn't legal so we need to abide by the laws we do currently have thus making it a crime.
The crime of solicitation itself isn't the major issue here the crime took place when he knowingly had sex wth a minor though both should have gone against him and his probation violation and thus gotten him jailtime that a defendant not on probation and with his history would not have been sentenced to.
I for one do not feel sorry for L.T., he had a long, productive career in the NFL ,made a LOT of money which he has blown and all that has been wrought down upon him he has brought on himself.
I do believe his celebrity  not his financial status assisted him in this matter, can't say he doesn't have that because he still does but yes he did get off easily and yes it was due to his celebrity and again L.T. thinks he can do whatever he likes and no one is going to make him abide by rules therest of society must.

Lawrence Taylor receives 6 years probation

Tuff I totally agree.  The Lil Kim's, Martha Stewarts and now LT's get away with whatever they want because they have money

What are you guys talking about? Lawrence Taylor doesn't have any money... give me a break.   Lawrence Taylor declared bankruptcy 5 years after he retired from the NFL in 1998.  Yeah, athletes make some money in appearances and other endorsements after they retire but nowhere near what he made playing.   Think about it... if he was forced to go bankrupt after a successful career financially what makes you think he has money 12 years after going belly up?  The guy has been on drugs and living a terrible life.......
The reason he "got off" is because prostitution although illegal isn't a crime many do jail time for.   Yeah, she was underage but there isn't a prostitute world wide that tells her client she's underage and not a pimp in the world that would do that either.   Thus, he didn't get jail time... but 6 years probation is no joke.  There are people that would rather do a couple years jail time, serve their full sentence and be done with it rather then have to report to the courts for 6 years, ask permission for anything they want to do or anywhere they want to go, etc.
By the way Martha Stewart going to jail was a complete joke.... they just wanted to make an example of a high profile person, that's all.   First of all insider trading happens all day long in every country..... it's illegal but a joke at that.   If you had inside information your stock was about to die and you were going to lose big money, wouldn't you sell your stock?  If I gave you a great tip on  stock for a company I'm connected to with the chance to make huge dollars, are you going to ignore me or buy some stock?  Obviously you would sell your stock and cut your losses on a tip and obviously you would buy up as much as you could afford if you're going to profit....   to make Martha Stewart's case even dumber then it was, the amount of stock she sold was of so little value in comparison to her wealth it was a joke... the amount she saves she probably keeps in her bra for emergency spending purposes....
