Jenn Sterger interview on 'Good Morning America'

Jenn Sterger appeared on "Good Morning America" Tuesday morning and the interview went about as well as you could expect, although it's worth noting that Sterger does come off as fairly sympathetic in the video.

"How are you supposed to report on the news when you are the news?" Sterger asked of George Stephanopoulos during the interview.

She also pointed out that she's never actually met Favre, which should significantly surprise a lot of people who don't follow football closely.

Her claim, in fact, is that she wants to distance herself from the situation.

"I don't want anything to do with it," Sterger said. "I didn't want anything to do with it in 2008, I didn't want anything to do with it in 2010, I don't want anything to do with it now."

As to the Favre "incident," Sterger alleges she was "approached one day ... by a man wearing a Jets badge" who inquired about Favre getting her phone number.

"I'd say I like my job an awful lot, and I've been told I look remarkably like his wife," Sterger claims she told the Jets employee. "Have a good day."

Interestingly, she never knew -- or at least claims she never knew -- that the person on the texts and voicemails were Favre.

And she used the line "I don't really recall," to describe whether or not she sent him a text in reply.

So, yeah. We -- which in this case includes Sterger and maybe Favre -- have some closure on this now. I think. Let's hope so.

And Nixon wasn't "a crook".

If you had not intention of cashing in on Favre, why keep voicemails and pics, especially since you claim to have wanted nothing to do with them.

I'm not making any judgement on what took place....but if she wants nothing to do with it...WHY IS SHE ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA??

This is so transparent....Favre may have done everything she claims.....but she can move on with her life no problem if she chooses.....he didn't assult her or anything....so I'm basically saying that she is loving the attention no matter what she says

Wow, She does look like his wife, just younger! I see now why Brett probably was trying to hook up with her. lol. This should be a non-story. If we wrote an article everytime a pro athlete may have been unfaithful we will be neck deep in these stories. Who cares? It was 3 years ago let it go...

Speaking of commercials, the interview would be a great spot for Kleenex considering for most guys (maybe Favre too) a tissue and Sterger usually go hand in hand.

All women are gold diggers. That's how it's always been. It's understandable because for the most part women need men in order to survive. Women are great at cooking and cleaning though. Women aren't allowed in The Athos. It's cool though.

Seems like for someone sho doesn't want to have anything to do with it she's having a lot to do with it.  She should just go away - and the rest of us can forget about her (and Favre's junk) completely.
