Assuming there is a season next year, the Bears and the Buccaneers will be spending some time abroad.

As ESPN radio reported (via ESPN Chicago ), Chicago and Tampa Bay are the teams that will participate in the now-annual London contest at Wembley Stadium.

The NFL’s preseason schedule was released today (sort of) The regular-season schedule should be released some time next week with a date and time for the London game.

it has to be the Bucs who got screwed out of a home game.  There's no way that the NFL or the Chicago Bears org would allow the fans to lose out on a full home game's worth of tickets and merch sales here.  It's hard enough getting tix for a Bears game.

don't those games sell-out no matter what?  it was a pretty hot event to go to last season in the UK.

The NFL regular season games in Europe are stupid. I can deal with the Buffalo having a few home games played in Canada, because it is still in the same time zone and really not that far from Buffalo to begin with. But what is the NFL doing in London? Last I checked they tried to start a league in Europe and it did not fair so well.

Keep the NFL regular season games here where they belong. Stop screwing over the fans here out of a home game.

Tampa Bay vs. Chicago what is the NFL trying to pay the Brits back for burning the White House? That's a game that wouldn't sell out here.

All I have heard from players is what a great experience it is for them and teammates. Most say that they enjoyed the 5 or 6 days away with team mates as its forms a more bonding experience as a team. They are also able to relax as the worlds...opps America's media does not come to London on mass. I'm surprised its Tampa again, although doing two Buccs games is trying to guage how the UK fans would like a full time franchise in London in the future.

TBH I wouldn't be surprised if the UK got another game. Pittsburgh in Dublin maybe.

Dude last year when my Brownies played the Bucs ON OPENING DAY there was nobody there...  Tampa should be grateful they have 7 professionl games of football being played there

Obviously the Glasers are quite happy to send their team to London again the Bears have a big fan base in the UK going back to Superbowl XX.Unfortunately for you guys all the whinging in the world is not going to alter this situation. As long as the European fans continue to support these games with full attendances then they are here to stay.
As for the 8 timezones unfair argument thats hogwash, teams who have made this trip in the past have not fared too badly.

Tampa gets screwed again. As a Saints season ticket holder, I was extremely pissed off in 2008 when the Saints played a "home" game in London. We still had to pay the full amount for season tickets. There were not any discounts or refunds for the game not being played at home.
p.s. Godell can suck it!!!

The game was supposed to be played in Tampa, so Bucs got hosed for the second time in three years against a big market team.

Any word on which team is going to get screwed out of a home game?
