Assuming there is a season next year, the Bears and the Buccaneers will be spending some time abroad.
As ESPN radio reported (via ESPN Chicago ), Chicago and Tampa Bay are the teams that will participate in the now-annual London contest at Wembley Stadium.
The NFL’s preseason schedule was released today (sort of) The regular-season schedule should be released some time next week with a date and time for the London game.

Report: Bears-Bucs will be in London next yearObviously neither the owners nor the players have any consideration for the fans that made them waht they are or there would not be the current situation that we have.

Report: Bears-Bucs will be in London next yearIf the NFL must play outside the U.S. play the Pro-Bowl or some other non-consequensial game there. I hate the idea of any regular season game, Bears, Buccaneers or any team to be subjected to the rigors of playing 8 time zones away. It's unfair and stupid.
NFL is American. Play the games here and let the foreign 'fans' travel to our country. Go Bears!!!! |

Report: Bears-Bucs will be in London next yearThis is great news for all those die hard fans of the Bears and Bucs in London. To hell with the fansin the United Sates that will lose the home game, I mean that is only 12.5% of the fanbase that will be srewwed out of seeing their favorite team live so that people 2000 miles away can go to a game. I am all for expanding the games reach but it is a shame they do it at the expense of the fans who made the game what it is today. The fans money is what built the NFL. |
