While the NFL schedule is scheduled to be released at 7 p.m. ET, reporters around the country have been tweeting the dates, times and opponents they’re hearing about. There are so many leaks occurring right now that one tweeter (I would give credit, but I don’t remember who it was) asked if Julian Assange was the one in charge of handling the NFL schedule this year.

We already told you
about the Giants and Redskins playing on September 11 along with the Jets and Cowboys.

Here are some of the leaks that are out there right now (whether they’re true or not, well, we’ll find out in a short while):

  • Bears-Lions on Oct. 10. That’s a Monday, by the way. Also, Bears-Vikings Oct. 16.
  • Broncos-Raiders on Monday night, Sept. 12.
  • Jets-Patriots in Week 5 and Patriots-Giants in Week 9.
  • Giants-Jets on Dec. 24 at 1 p.m.
  • Saints-Packers on Sept. 8 at Lambeau Field.
  • Packers-Bears in primetime on Christmas day.
  • 49ers-Steelers in a MNF game in December.
  • Saints-Bears in Week 2 in New Orleans.
  • Redskins vs. Bills in Toronto.
  • Indy gets five primetime games for fourth-straight year.
  • Patriots-Dolphins is the other Monday Night game on Sept. 12 (the first Monday of the season).
(We’ll update this as we continue to receive news.)

NFL schedule has its share of leaks

What a silly article.  Why bother?  You forgot to mention the Steelers were playing in Cincinnati, too.
