Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is getting married this Saturday. And Jerry Jones will be on hand. The lockout prevents owners and players from being in touch, but Jones told ESPN Dallas that he is getting around those rules.

"I've gotten special permission," Jones said. "But more than anything, [I got the] right ticket from him and his fianceé -- Romo's wife-to-be. [It's] one of prettiest invitations I've ever seen.

"So, yes, I will be there, and [I'm] proud for him. He's got the best end of this deal."

Romo is marrying former television reporter and Miss Missouri, Candice Crawford. Virtually the entire Cowboys roster is expected to attend the wedding and reception.

Romo is a creation of the media
Dumb comment -- "creation of the media"?  So Romo did not really complete all those passes for all the yards or throw all the TD passes on his record?  The media made it up?  Look we can debate where Romo ranks amoung the top 10 or 12 QBs in the league, but his NUMBERS ON THE FIELD (completion %, yards, TD/Int ratio, etc), not in the media, on the Dallas team you says "sucks" so bad show Romo is clearly one of the best QBs in the NFL right now.

Umm, who cares? Im a Cowboy fan and could care less about this story. And for the haters out there keep it coming because guess what? We don't like u either! lol, And who ever said Romo is the best guy on the team obviously forgot about Ware, and Witten. Ya know the best OLB and TE in the league! Its not even debatable.

It must be a really slow news day in the NFL if we have an srticle about Jerry Jones attending Tony Romos wedding. Doesn't that belong on the Dllas Cowboys society page in the paper? Well, I looked at her picture and Romo's fiance is a beautiful woman. I don't think that's a surprise.
