Kenny Britt must take some perverse pleasure in legal entanglements. Because a day after he pleaded guilty to careless driving in his hometown of Bayonne, New Jersey, Britt was -- you guessed it -- arrested again. This time in Hoboken where narcotics officers charged him with two counts of resisting arrest.

Britt was issued a summons and will have to show up in Central Judicial Processing Court in Jersey City on June 16, eight days since his last court appearance.

According to WSMV.com, the complaint says Britt "did purposely prevent or attempt to prevent a public servant from lawfully performing an official function by means of force or violence, specifically by refusing to open your hand when ordered to do so then pulling your hand away."

When you've just pled guilty to another offense hours before it only makes sense that you would hassle a cop at the first opportunity, right? Look, we understand that "refusing to open your hand when ordered to do so" ranks right below jaywalking when it comes abhorrent criminal behavior. But here's a thought: if you've just had a run-in with the law, and you're a relatively high-profile athlete (or just tired of getting arrested), open your hand when the police ask you to, you know, open your hand.

Instead, Britt was charged with using his body "to push away from the officers" and pulled his arm away "while not allowing the officers to handcuff" him.

To recap: the Titans' best receiver can't get separation from law officers who probably haven't played competitive sports since high school. You know, it's not too late for the team to reconsider re-signing Randy Moss.

In related news: Ray Lewis, upon hearing the latest, nodded knowingly, and continued to preach of the impending Armageddon crime spree if the lockout isn't promptly resolved. We've been warned.

Well since I'm a veteran and have actually read the Bill of Rights, I'm guessing the idiot is you since you are so willing to bow to a cop that was clearly breaking the law.  Did he have drugs on him?  NO or else there would have been charges for that.  So it seems that those are either dumbest narcotics officers in the country or they were intentionally targeting him (which is more likely).  At this point, I'm guessing Britt is actually smarter than you, he knew he wasn't doing anything wrong and he refused to comply with their orders - that's what Americans should do in that situation.  The more we allow them to break their mandate, they more they will do it until our Bill of Rights has absolutely no meaning.  I think Americans these days are watching too many police shows that have their minds warped into believing the police have powers that they do not.  I'm glad I served in the military to protect the rights most Americans are so willing to give away.

How can you get arrested for resisting arrest when you are not charged with anything other than resisting arrest?  Pulling my hand away from a cop doesn't mean I'm resisting anything.  It means that I know my rights and will not be bullied into giving up my 4th amendment rights regardless of what the US Supreme Court thinks of it.  Britt may be an idiot but idiots in this country have the same rights as the rest of us, at least whatever rights we have left.  If a cop ever says that he wants to search you or your vehicle, tell him to get a warrant or to go eff himself.  I guarantee there isn't a jury in this country that will convict you for standing up for our Bill of Rights.  Just another example of our government wasting taxpayers time and money and it eventually will get tossed.

Hmm... I'm trying to figure out why Britt wouldn't open his hand.... And why did the narcotics officers ask him to open his hand? What fits in your hand and would be of interest to narcotics officers? Hmmmm..... I can't figure this one out
Obviously nothing lol.  Just bullies demanded respcet they can't earn on their own.
