Britt wanted by police - this time in Nashville

BrittPosted by Josh Katzowitz

This whole “Kenny Britt is in trouble with the law AGAIN” bit is getting ridiculous.

The Tennessean is reporting that the Titans receiver – who’s been arrested at least six times since he was drafted in 2009 – is wanted by metro Nashville police because of two outstanding warrants sworn out by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

When Britt returns to Tennessee, his lawyer told the paper that Britt would turn himself into authorities.

“To my belief, Mr. Britt’s counsel is aware of the existence of these warrants and we would anticipate that he would report and surrender himself on these and let them be served when he returns to the state of Tennessee,’’ said Don Aaron, the metro police’s spokesman. “If he does not, he’ll be subject to arrest.”

Said Britt’s attorney, Jonathan Farmer: “When he gets back he is going to cooperate fully and we are looking forward to getting that resolved in a quick manner. He takes it seriously and is looking forward to getting it resolved.”

Jeez, I’m just looking forward to not having to write nearly every day about Britt’s legal entanglements. And I'm sure the Titans - who say they're not planning to cut Britt - would like to stop reading about it.

Haha, seeing Steelers fans talk about classless teams paying classless players makes me laugh at the irony. If James Harrison had been arrested for every criminal hit he made on opposing players there'd have to be a separate division of the government dedicated just to arresting that fool. Talk about classless.

"BowdenisGOD, part of the problem with "todays" view of the world, is that there are still people who refuse to believe that nothing has changed from "yesterday".  When you read a story about a African American being dragged from the back of a car by a chain (I guess they would have used a Stagecoach in 1850), that doesn't resonate that the problem of race hate hasn't disappeared, just the way things are done in todays world.  But I guess that was just a isolated case of a few White Men who just forgot that Black Men have rights too"

This guy must have slept through the election and the ensuing 3 years. That's one hell of a nap.

Legal Eagle

The titans need to get their top legal people on this and get it cleared up.  A few calls to the right people should take care of everything with all their money and power in the city.

If the Titans had any class at all, they would waive this loser immediately.

This is the freakin' NFL, who gives a s--t about class? Go buy a new purse.
