In an hour-long special that will air June 30 on ESPN, Jon Gruden spends time with former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor for his occasional Gruden Camp series.

In the excerpt below, Gruden asks Pryor what in the heck happened at Ohio State with him and coach Jim Tressel.

“Pretty much just me making mistakes, especially losing a great coach to this great university,” Pryor said. “It’s a disaster. I’m very sorry, but at the same time, I have to move on. I have a life I have to live. I’m disgusted with what went down to that university. I regret the fact that coach Tres had to leave and the fact I had to leave.”

The excerpted clip is less than 2 minutes long, so I guess you’ll have to wait to see if Gruden grills Pryor the same way he grilled Cam Newton (it did not present Newton in the, um, best light). But if so, beware. Not everybody thinks Gruden’s evaluation skills are so great.

Gruden gets chance to drill Pryor

Bottom line is someone will draft him, hopefully it won't come until the third or fourth round.  He single handedly took down a coacha nd Univeristy, and now he's sorry.  Of course he's sorry, if he didn't come out with that he would never get drafted.  He has to say those words and come across like he really means it.  This is the same old crap we see all the time, "star" screws up - "star" tells everyone how sorry he is, "star" tells media it's time to put this all behind him, "star" gets millions by turning pro, "star" is happy, "star's" ex-school gets shafted.

Gruden gets chance to drill Pryor

I so agree with you...........does the NFL need this trash. Do the fans need another punk for their kids to see....................but like you said some team will give him a shot and that is so sad.

Gruden gets chance to drill Pryor

I hope this jerk never plays in the NFL, although I know some team will give him a chance.  I am a hawkeye fan and a buckeye hater but its rediculous what he did to the university.  The school, fans, and team will now have to pay the price for what he did.  Meanwhile this jerk will just walk away from it and make millions in the NFL.
