We last heard from Reggie Bush in June, when he was refuting a Yahoo report that the Saints had given him permission to seek a trade in February.

On Tuesday, Bush spoke to ESPN's Colleen Dominguez about his future with in New Orleans. "I want to be with the Saints. I know that the coaches, the owner, the GM, have all expressed how much they want me back," he said. "And hopefully we can all find a happy medium. My No. 1 priority is to remain a New Orleans Saint."

Dominguez asked Bush about his draft-night tweet ("It's been fun New Orleans") regarding the Saints trading up in the first round to take running back Mark Ingram.

"I wish I hadn't tweeted it," Bush said. "But for me, what I was thinking was that, I still have this big question mark over my head, I'm still due a lot of money, I'm not sure if I'm gonna be back or not. … To me, it looked as if the team was moving on without me."

When Bush was asked about struggling with injuries for most of his five-year NFL career, he said that "I would attribute a lot of it to turf. There's a difference between playing on grass and FieldTurf. … Another part of it is being unfortunate."

According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune's Jeff Duncan (via PFT), of Bush's six injuries, three were on grass, and three were on turf (and one was at the Superdome).

Bush also said that he's a better person now for the things that happened in the past, specifically at USC.  "You live and you learn and you try to move on. … All the stuff that happens with USC, it kills me."

Reggie Bush talks about future with Saints

The saints will not miss a beat and keep on winning on their way to superbowl 46 in indy in feb 2012. They have all the pieces in place for another superbowl run. Look at the money they save by getting rid of bush  and using it for other players to sign.

I still don't understand why they don't move him to slot receiver and pair him with Lance Moore their. His best plays come on catches and not runs. He's vitale to the Sean Payton's offensive scheme but not as a running. Move him to the slot. The team only has role players at wide receivers anyway. Colston is the only true all around receiver they got.

So the drama queen isn't demanding a trade yet? This is the most over-rated douche of some time. Everyone is playing on the same turf, I understand you can't stop all injuries but this little princess is always hurt. Ship him off to Oakland or Cleveland or some other small market team where he can be brushed under the rug untill his next injury.

Can someone out there with knowledge of the human body explain to me how someone built like Reggie Bush is ALWAYS injured?

You don't need to be an M.D. to see why this could torque something in the human body:

Reggie Bush talks about future with Saints

After five years of watching Bush play,I have come to realized that Bush simply can't make it in the league as a "every down" RB. I saw the interview and the stats that they showed proved that his production declined....injured or not. That was a good move by the Saints to draft Ingram in order to decrease some of the "wear and tear" on Bush. Bush still pose a threat when he's on the field as a RB,WR,and PR/KR but I'm quite sure that the Saints were expecting a whole lot more than what they paid for Bush. As for the injuries,it's a part of the game but don't just say that it's because of the Field Turf man....to me that seems like an excuse for not being in "tip-top" shape. As for the USC years, he will always be connected to them for life....regardless if he tries to put what happened in the past......PS: Give Back That Damn Heisman Throphy Reggie!!!Money mouthLaughing
