Though this won’t come as a surprise to just about everybody who follows the NFL -- you know, because of Matt Hasselbeck signing -- the Titans will waive QB Vince Young on Thursday. That’s according to TitanInsider.com’s Terry McCormick.

As CBSSports.com’s Ryan Wilson pointed out the other day, the Titans have to cut Young as soon as possible so they don’t have to pay him his $4.25 million roster bonus.

And now we wonder where Young will be headed.

Not Seattle and, obviously, not Tennessee. Probably not Minnesota, considering that’s probably where Donovan McNabb is headed. Where does that leave him? Miami or Arizona, perhaps? Maybe Washington?

they've really done him a disservice by waiting so long to cut him loose.  i'm sure it doesn't bother the titans all that much, but still, he won 30 of 47 games for you, he deserves at least a little consideration

The Bengals are going to or will sign Gradkowski to be their starter which opens up an opportunity for him in Oakland.

No, you would be wrong on that guess, Kolb is going to Arizona for Rodgers-Cromartie & a draft pick.
They're already offering Rodgers-Cromartie jerseys for sale on the Eagles site.
I have news for you too and anyone else who thinks VY is an NFL caliber QB - he is NOT, he does not dedicate himself to his craft, he thinks he can get by on his physical skills alone and makes no attempt to practice, study film or learn how to better read defenses.
We've seen it before, lots of guys who come into the league as QB's with rocket arms who think that will overcome their inability or lack of desire to recognize that the QB position in the NFL is just as much a mental position as it is  physical one.
I look for Young to sign with Oakland, Al davis likes big splashes like that, true VY will sit behind Campbell but like any other QB in the league you're one hit from being sent in.
He does have a strong arm and with Al Davis liking the vertical passing game he will fit in nicely but he will only be successful if he changes his mindset towards football and works on his game particularly the mental aspect of it.

Pick up the phone, if reporters know how to do that anymore.
He's not a reporter. He's an "internet blogger". His job is to scour real news souces and media outlets and write smal blurbs about what he gleaned from it, mixed with poor attempts at humor and lots of speculation. He is a tool in other words.

This is stellar reporting. Ending the "story" with three questions, no facts and no expert quotes or testimony from a GM or two... Wow. The only thing that might improve it would be more speculation with a total absence of facts. Come on, Katzowitz. Call a front office or two. Check with the player's reps. See who might be talking. Even a little juice on an anonymous source who tells you, "No, we're not in the market for him," would be an upgrade. Pick up the phone, if reporters know how to do that anymore.

He will end up in Miami with that spread offense they like to play.

As for me, I say GOOD RIDDENCE - you acted like a punk when things didn't go your way...tried to sow dissention in the Tennessee lockeroom( politicing to get CJ, Scaife, and Griffin on your side. The other players didn't buy it. The brothers halfway stood up for him, but even they saw the spoiled goods after awhile.

Here's your hat VY, what's your hurry?
