Huzzah! Haynesworth passes conditioning test

A day after he failed his conditioning test -- or didn’t take it, depending on who you believe -- new Patriots DL Albert Haynesworth has, in fact, accomplished something that took him many, many tries last season in Washington.

He was in good enough shape to pass the conditioning test that will allow him to practice.

That’s the word from the Boston Herald, which writes that Haynesworth actually might not have taken the test Saturday (even though coach Bill Belichick certainly gave the impression that Haynesworth didn’t pass it).

Either way, Haynesworth is scheduled to be on the practice field Sunday for the Patriots.

Huzzah! Haynesworth passes conditioning test

Belicheck is a known liar so who knows maybe he is lying about this. Let me guess he doesn't pass one for the redskins but all of a sudden he passes one for the Patriots after not doing a single thing during the lock out.

The Redskins got 3 good games from him last year.. Maybe the Pats will get 6 good games from him this year.. Remember, he won't play if he doesn't want to... Don't matter what anyone else says..

Haynesworth is a "class act" and a "good fit" for the Pats.  So was Aaron Marsh.

Part attitude and part Shanahan being an idiot and trying to prove a point. I'm not a Haynesworth fan but if he plays upto his potential the Pats got a steal.

He passed the conditioning test because he wants to play and win now.  In Washington he knew the team was going to be horrible but the guranteed money was too good to pass up.  He left Jeff Fisher a coach he worked hard for, took the huge payday and then intended to go back but Fisher wasn't around, luckily the other coach he could presumably work with saw the opportunity.  Watch Albert have a Pro Bowl season and nobody be able to figure out why he couldn't do this in Washington, in simple terms he didn't want to.
