Posted by Josh KatzowitzSince we know for sure that the NFL supplemental draft will be held Aug. 17, now we’d like to figure out if former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor actually can participate in it.
We don’t know for sure yet, but SportsXchange’s Len Pasquarelli is reporting Pryor’s acting as if he’ll be good to go, setting up a Pro Day for himself this Friday, Aug. 12, somewhere in the Pittsburgh area.
Apparently, Pryor prefers to work out on an artificial turf field, and since he’s persona non grata at Ohio State, he’ll stick to the area near his hometown in order to show himself in front of the NFL’s scouts.
If he ends up in the NFL supplemental draft, Pryor probably will be no better than a mid-round pick, though he has said he doesn’t care if he’s a first-round or a seventh-round selection.
On Monday, former Georgia RB Caleb King -- who was academically ineligible for the Bulldogs this season-- will hold his Pro Day in Athens.
H/T to the Bear Report.
