One of the things we never considered when NFL players are traded: where will they live? I mean, the horror of trying to find a place to live on their salaries, right?
Well, Chad Ochocinco, just recently shipped from Cincinnati to Boston, has a clever way of handling that little problem: he's going to live with a Patriots fan for a few weeks.
"I’m going to do something different — I’m going to stay with a fan, probably for the first two, three weeks of the season, so that should be fun until I get myself acclimated and learn my way around and just find a place," Ochocinco said, per Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald.
Naturally, this fan has to have a really expensive house, a basketball court and a bull-riding facility in his home.
Or, alternately, just an Xbox.
"I'm not sure how many Boston fans I have, but I'm just going to pick someone," the newest Patriots wideout said. "I'm not sure how it's going to work. They have to have Internet and they have to have Xbox. That’s about it."
They should also have FIFA (the soccer video game) since, as I understand it, that's Ocho's favorite game.
And, apparently it doesn't matter if this "lucky" fan is actually a serial killer or something -- as, when Ocho was told that some fans could be a little kooky, he wasn't too worried.
"I rode a bull. I'm crazy."
Indeed. But at least it's in a charming way.
