Stop me if you’ve heard this before. Albert Haynesworth, who apparently has some kind of illness and missed practice today, is listed as questionable by the Patriots for Monday night’s game vs. the Dolphins.

Which doesn’t necessarily sound like the status a “sleeping giant” should have.

Not to mention, a guy who recently said this when asked about the difference between New England and Washington: “You name it. You don't have to watch your back or anything like that. You know everybody is here for you, and I really enjoy that. I know my head coach is for me. I know my owner is for me. I know my players are for me. I feel relaxed. I'm having fun again. I'm having fun playing football again."

And while it might be only fair to give Haynesworth the benefit of the doubt (hey, maybe he really IS sick), it’s probably very hard to do so, especially if you’re of the Redskins persuasion. And for good reason.

Is this really news?

Fat, out-of-shape, wash up can hardly walk onto the practice field without needing oxygen  or complaining of an ailment. Teams need to stop signing this idiot!

Haynesworthless is a sleeping giant alright.  Akin to sleeping on the job.  Worthless piece of flab.  Surprised the Patriots bothered with this clown.  Really really surprised.
