S. Bradford suffered a finger injury vs. Philadelphia (AP).Posted by Josh Katzowitz

UPDATED 4:58 p.m. ET: According to Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post Dispatch, the injury to Sam Bradford's finger is a good-news, bad-news situation.

Writes Miklasz: "Bradford's injury right index finger. X ray: no break. But some numbness; next an MRI. Spags said might be a 'nerve' issue in finger."

Said Bradford after the game: "(It's) not painful, but I don't have the motion (in finger) that I want to right now."

----------

It was not a good day for the Rams.

In the midst of getting dominated by the Eagles 31-13, St. Louis lost its top receiver (possibly for the year), its top running back and, worst of all, its former No. 1 pick quarterback.

You already knew that running back Steven Jackson left the game with a right quadriceps injury, but in the second half, receiver Danny Amendola -- who led the team with 85 catches last year and had five for 45 yards today -- dislocated his elbow and Sam Bradford had to leave the game to get a finger on his right hand X-rayed.

We don’t know the extent of Bradford’s injury, but the loss of Amendola could be costly. His injury leaves the rest of his season in serious doubt and means Brandon Gibson and Mike Sims-Walker will become the go-to receivers for whoever is playing quarterback.

To make matters just a little bit worse, cornerback Ron Bartell also was lost to injury.

The season isn't over yet for the rams...Bradford can throw to any receivers, Williams did well 19-91 rushing the ball after Jackson left, and Bradford won't be gone long.  The Rams have a very tough 1st 6 games but it slows down some for them after that.  They just have to weather the storm and not give up.

So let me get this straight. The Rams loose their starting QB, starting RB and number one reciever? It was their division to loose and they just lost it. Its too bad when the season is over in week 1.

5 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 13 points for a defense that has basicly never played together. If thats scary bad to you. Please describe the Rams Defense?

Penalities were Eagles 8/91 yards Rams 9/60 yards... St. Louis needs to get rid of Tony LaRussa, his constant complaining is wearing off on all the fans of St. Louis.

The Eages will get their injuries too, and they'll have a different tune.  their rush defense is awful, and were it not for rookie and 2nd year mistakes, and our 3 best players out for the game, who knows.   The better healtheir team won, but the eagles on defense are scary BAD for the 2nd year in a row

Lil, what game were you watching? We had a fumble in the first half which gave the Eagles the touchdown and lead, and they never looked back. Kendricks drop an easy catch that would most likely would of lead to a touchdown as he was wide open and literally had it in his hands. The O-Line struggled throughout the entire game. The D-line after the 1st Quarter couldn’t stop Vick as he started scrambling for big gains. Your comment shows you must be very delusional and oblivious to what happen in the game.

Saying the Rams were in it until they lost Amendola and Bradford in the 4th quarter is stupid! We were losing by 2 touchdowns halfway through the 3rd quarter, we couldn’t make a big stop, our offense didn’t do much at all, and the coaching looked unprepared. Besides the 1st quarter, the Rams were sloppy throughout the game. They got lucky the score was only 17-10 at the half. Otherwise their luck ran out in the second half which is why the score ended up being a blowout for the Eagles.
