T.O. still looking for a j-o-b. (US PRESSWIRE)

Posted by Ryan Wilson

Terrell Owens may not be back in the NFL just yet, but he's keeping plenty busy. Returning to football is "just a matter of time," he told TMZ recently, after undergoing offseason surgery for a torn ACL. In the meantime, Owens is offering DeSean Jackson financial advice, focusing on his acting career, doing his reality show, and getting pulled over for allegedly driving in the carpool lane … with no one else in his vehicle. Scandalous, indeed.

The ubiquitous TMZ with the details:
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, T.O. was pulled over on Monday -- driving a 2003 VW Beetle -- after police observed him violating the two-or-more-passengers rule in the carpool lane.

But according to law enforcement, once Owens was pulled over ... cops also cited him for an expired registration ... and having overly-tinted windows. The carpool violation runs AT LEAST $381 -- but thankfully, the other two citations can be written off ... provided T.O. updates his registration and brings his windows up to code.
The most shameful thing to come out of the report? The fact that TO was driving a VW Beetle. Then again, that might explain the overly tinted windows.

In any event, we expect Owens to get another chance to play in the NFL, partly because we think he still has something left, but also because there's a chance he might need the dough. In a recent episode of the TO Show, Owens can't get ahold of his financial advisor.

No money, mo' problems for T.O.

"Football season is on a standstill, so I have no income at this point. None. On top of that, you're talking about the mortgage of all the real estate that I do have. And on top of that, child support."

And now there's the $381.

Maybe driving around in a VW Beetle was his attempt at "coming out."

TO pulled over, could have money troubles

Yeah, this is a non story. But to everybody blasting them for running it, maybe it has something to do with Owens being a tool for so long.  He could have been a great one, but instead he chose to be a punchline.

TO pulled over, could have money troubles

The person (Ryan Wilson) who deemed this as a story is a complete idiot. I wonder if he will post whenever he receives a ticket. Absolutely sad when you have to write about a person who is no longer on a NFL roster. Has the media become this desperate for storylines? Sad!!!!
