Romo, Bryant and Jones are all questionable ... and all should play Monday night. (US PRESSWIRE)

Posted by Ryan Wilson

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, who was limited in practice Saturday, has been listed as questionable on the injury report two days before Dallas hosts Washington on Monday night. In general, "questionable" means there's a 50 percent chance a player participates in the game, although it appears like Romo's chances of taking the field against the Redskins are much higher than that.

Whatever the exact probabilities, it's welcome news given that he suffered a punctured lung six days ago against the 49ers. That has since healed, although Romo still has a broken rib which will necessitate him wearing a protective vest against the Redskins.

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, who suffered a quadriceps injury in the Week 1 loss to the Jets and missed last week's 49ers game, is listed as questionable, too. Bryant was limited in practice Saturday but, like Romo, it looks like he'll play Monday, even if he's not completely healthy.

Romo's other go-to wide receiver, Miles Austin, has been ruled out after suffering a hamstring injury during overtime of the San Francisco game. (Other Cowboys ruled out: guard Derrick Dockery, cornerback Orlando Scandrick.)

Running back Felix Jones (separated shoulder) is also questionable, but like Romo and Bryant, also expected to play.

In other injury-related news: cornerback Terence Newman (groin) is listed as probable and should see his first action of the 2011 season. Other Cowboys with a 75 percent chance to play: cornerback Mike Jenkins (shoulder), linebacker Anthony Spencer (shoulder), center Phil Costa (knee) and guard Bill Nagy (neck).

For completeness, the Redskins injury report:

Questionable: S LaRon Landry, FB Mike Sellers, S DeJon Gomes and FB Darrel Young. All were limited in practice.

Probable: CB Josh Wlson, KR/PR Brandon Banks, TE Chris Cooley, LB Keyaron Fox, CB DeAngelo Hall, CB Josh Wilson and TE Logan Paulsen. All participated in the full practice.

Romo, Bryant questionable, should play vs. 'Skins

Good luck. Not really, I hate Dallass, I hate your city, i hate your owner, I hate your history, i hate you..find a Russian plane.

Wow you have some serious issues.  Wishing a team to die in a plane crash while having no regard for the Russian team that did die.  I'd watch my back, kharma is a bitch.

Redskins are a tough game for the Cowboys no matter how bad or good they are in any given season. That's one rivalry game that has shown us many many upsets over the years. To take them for granted this season of all seasons would be sheer ignorance as they are playing some damn good ball right now.
And the opposite is always true. The Cowboys are a tough game for the Redskins. And remember, you guys are led by the mighty Rex Grossman.
This game is never a lock either way, because it's the hated 'Skins. I've h8ed the giants for years, and I always h8 the bEagles. Everyone outside of Philly h8's the Eagles. Worst fans of all teams in any sport. The only reason I haven't h8ed the Redskins for years is that they've been totally irrelevent for years. That may be about to change, they're looking better. I still have faith that Dallas will crush them. That's what being a fan is all about.

Romo, Bryant questionable, should play vs. 'Skins

I have been quiet in regards to the Redskins so far this season.

Why? I have better things to do plus a fool slate of work not to mention a total disregard for how CBS has made this site the Quaker, no fun site of sports...but I digress...

NASA has better excuses for a fallen satellite than this, Romo got hit by a phantom lung bone bruise, neat. Please keep him in the lineup, even if the Skins lose, the Girls God still tanked when it counted on 60 Minutes and in front of the world with a fantasy team the Eagles envy last year.

If Rex blows up the Girls secondary, this is a big if, there is no need whatsoever for the Dallas and Americas Team to think they have a prayer playing in Peytons old haunt this Bowl Season.

If you Girls fans have anymore excuses my much tardy son would laugh, the bottom line is this...Romo is injury prone and no longer a prospect, he cannot run a team for a full season, again, so as I see it, if the Skins win, your team is a failure.

As for the Skins, we have youth and enthusiasm not seen in a long time. In over your heads 2-0...this is all on the Girls, its icing for me if there is a win for the Skins, up to the excuses if I see them 3-0.

Good luck. Not really, I hate Dallass, I hate your city, i hate your owner, I hate your history, i hate you..find a Russian plane.

Listen, The redskins are much improved this season so don't take a Dallas win for granted.

Anyone who does that is being foolish. Redskins are a tough game for the Cowboys no matter how bad or good they are in any given season. That's one rivalry game that has shown us many many upsets over the years. To take them for granted this season of all seasons would be sheer ignorance as they are playing some damn good ball right now. I think the old Rex will show up eventually but so far he sure hasn't given any indication of it and until he does our beat up secondary better be begging that defensive front to keep them out of trouble.

I give Romo credit  for having all the heart in the world, but to play with a punctured lung is insane. ! hard hit  and, um.

Does Dallas really think they can't beat Washington without romo?  Why not let him rest and recover for just one week?  Kitna  would do fine; that's why he's the backup.  Plus look how he did last year, playing well during stretches.
Listen, The redskins are much improved this season so don't take a Dallas win for granted. They may win but don't be surprised if the redskins pull out a W. This is going to be a hard fought divisional rivalry during a prime time Monday Night broadcast. The Cowboys I'm sure don't want to fall too far behind anyone in the division early on. I understand that people may assume that the skins suck again this year given their recent history but as a fan that follows this team closely I can sense a different mentality on this team. No more locker room cancers or distractions. More young talent and veterans providing leadership in the locker room and more personel that match the scheme that they are running equals a much better result than in years past. Don't take them for granted or you may be unpleasantly surprised.

I never liked Tony Romo since the day he came into the league.  But I tell you what, he earned (not that he really cares) my respect on last weeks performance.  That had to be excruciating to play through, but somehow he did it and helped Dallas come from behind to beat San Franciso.  I never thought they would have bounced back the way they did.   I give Romo a lot of credit for wanting to go back into the game when most players would not be able to.  That game might have singly handedly saved the Cowboys season from a desastorous start, which they might not have been able to overcome. Epsecially after losing to the Jets the way they did on Sunday Night football opening week.

this whole "we must have romo in there or else' is dumb..
