Michael Vick injury is hand contusion, not break

Well, here's something new: Michael Vick's broken right hand isn't actually broken and instead a misread X-ray. Also new: something is going OK for the Eagles.

Yesterday, we wrote that Vick left the game against New York with a broken hand. What actually happened, according to Andy Reid at his press conference Monday afternoon, is that a swollen blood vessel was sitting on top of the hand bone and made it appear as if Vick suffered a fracture.

"Blood vessel sitting over the bone, made it look like there's a fracture," Reid said.

That's why the Eagles believed Vick broke his hand, although there's no real explanation for where the report on Monday morning about Vick missing three to four weeks with a broken hand came from.

It's tremendous news for Philadelphia, because it means that Vick, despite suffering a concussion in Week 2, should be OK to return as soon as this week, though it's possible that the contusion causes him to miss time if the swelling in his hand doesn't subside.

But as Clark Judge pointed out on Sunday night, losing Vick is the least of Philly's problems. They have a nightmare in terms of offensive line issues, and it's become quite obvious that all the free-agent signings in the world can't mask the defensive problems they have at linebacker and safety.

Also not helping? The Eagles upcoming three-game stretch -- versus the 49ers, at the Bills and at the Redskins -- went from "cakewalk" to "toughest stretch of their season" faster than Philly's offensive line can give up a quarterback pressure.

No where ever has anyone called VICK MICKY.
Well, of course they haven't, so far as I'm aware (except for my earlier typo).  Who said they had?  So what's your point from it?

the MICKS I know in NYC would show you what a MICK does when Called a MICK.
Why don't you re-read that sentence and tell me if you don't think it sounds as nonsensical as I think it does.  Why are you calling them Micks?  I've already explained my earlier posts to you, including your misinterpretation of them.  If you don't like the explanation, too bad.  Maybe you need to read it again.
YOU ARE A LOUD MOUTH PUNK

Well, one of us clearly is.  Can we agree on that much?
(Careful with all those capital letters, by the way, if you don't want to look like a loudm--oh, never mind. . .)

Sorry for the premature post below.  1977Yankees' post again:
ARGO
He did not have a concussion, he is just soft
And just how do you happen to know that, my bucko?  Inside information?  You read the medical records, did you?  Do tell.

Complete BS...you can't see blood vessels in x-rays.

Michael Vick is right, he is getting hit late all the time. Refs are inconsistent.

1977 Yankees is a rabble rouser and troll, he used to go by the screen name brian8ball, or maybe it was briandimebag, or briancrackpipe, or something like that. He is a mentally unstable ward of the state, lives in a white room with rubber socks and no shoelaces.

I wonder how his hand feels. Clearly not nearly as bad as the pain he inflicted on dogs not too long ago, but I'm sure it hurts a lot. He is one tough cookie.
