Art and Patricia Modell (AP).Posted by Josh Katzowitz

Patricia Modell, a longtime TV actress and the wife of former Browns/Ravens owner Art Modell, died Wednesday at the age of 80.

Patricia had been hospitalized for the past five months with pancreatitis, and she was pronounced dead at 1:30 p.m. ET Wednesday.

She and Art Modell married in 1969, but before that, she appeared on General Hospital, Peyton Place, the Twilight Zone, Perry Mason and Maverick, and according to the Associated Press, she once held the title for appearing on more TV shows than any other woman in history (Lucille Ball eventually broke that mark).

After she married, she put her focus into philanthropy. From the AP:
In Cleveland, Mrs. Modell served on the board at Ursuline College and was active in the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Cleveland Musical Arts Association, the Cleveland Ballet, the Playhouse Square Foundation, and the Cerebral Palsy Association. She actively supported the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and she started and funded, along with her husband, the Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.

After Art Modell moved his football team to Baltimore in 1996, his wife served on several boards, including: House of Ruth, Gilchrist Hospice, Kennedy Krieger Institute, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and The Walters Art Museum. In addition, the Modells contributed money to the St. Vincent's Center and the Baltimore Museum of Art.

Another jerk from Cleveland that can't forget Modell's move HAS to blurt out some tripe that an admin has to remove.
If he were really brave, he would have used his primary account - but that didn't happen.

Crawl back in your hole jerk!
