AJ Hawk caught giving the middle finger on camera

For whatever reason, Packers linebacker AJ Hawk decided to point his middle finger (blurred for family friendly safety!) at the Packers sideline on Sunday. Unfortunately for Hawk, the Fox cameras caught him in the act, as you can se above.

The officials didn't catch it, so there was no flag, but Hawk is all but certain to be fined by the NFL at some point in the coming week.

Unless he convince them that he doesn't deserve to be fined.

Two possible excuses for this: he simply thinks "the Packers are No. 1" and his index finger hurts.

Or two, "look at the jersey I had to wear today -- of course I'm angry at the world." The latter actually seems pretty logical.

I don't know what was worse, this article or the awful attempt to blur out this "un-family friendly" act.

This is actually a pretty hilarious article, but I really hope the NFL doesn't fine him for this. It's getting to the point that professional athletes can't do anything anymore without being fined. C'mon guys, how many of you trash talked with opponents, did things behind officials backs, etc, that were minor (ex A- giving YOUR OWN SIDELINE the finger). There could be any number of legitimate reasons for Hawk doing that, it could have been a joke to a teammate, a response to being called out by a teammate (with no true ill intention), or maybe it even was him giving a coach or teammate the finger in anger. If that's the case, leave it up to the team to decide if it matters or not, but my money is on it not mattering to Packers management at all. It's just getting to a point in nearly all sports, where the players are having to think about their in game actions far too much, when they need to be focused on the heat of battle, especially in a game like football.

His hair stylist was on the sidelines.  I heard he was mad she took of an extra 1/2 inch.

Those uniforms are atrocious. I've seen two users say they liked them on this thread, both Packers fans. Homers. They suck. Worse than the Jets throwbacks.

What is Will Brinson thinking?, those unis rock!!!!!!!  Anyway, people are always trying to make something out of nothing, he did it towards his own bench, and they were playing at home (I seriously doubt someone was heckling him)  Then of course you get typical, classless posts from trolls like Orbsmith who have no idea why A.J. did it, but that won't stop him from casting judgement upon those he deems less worthy, and who isn't less worthy than Orbsmith and every player on his favorite teams
