The Terrell Owens saga continues to get more bizarre. And more sad.

He’s seemingly unwanted for employment by any NFL team, and there have been reports he might have tried to commit suicide (his PR team has strongly denied that).

And he’s apparently having money problems. Enough where TMZ is reporting that he’s asked a judge to lower his child support payments.

Apparently, Owens wants to reduce the payments because he’s not making enough money right now. According to one of Owens’ PR reps, “His child support payments should mirror his income today and not be based on his income from over four years ago."

He was supposed to be in court on Oct. 24 for a child support modification hearing, but he missed it and now, the lawyers for one of the women he owes have declined to reschedule.

Stop the drama please... TO, I had hoped we were finished with this guy... Neon Deon Sanders was a drama queen but we put up with him because at least he could play... Vince Young, Packman Jones, TO; you all have serious issues that have no place in the NFL. As a fan I like to enjoy the sport, the combat on the grid iron, the "professional" players entertain us with their amazing skills.  I don't like some drama queen distracting a team from playing the game.  If TO's life is in the toilet...Well, it happens. But he shouldn't be the news story of the day... People like this ruin the game and shouldn’t be allowed into the sport. I feel sorry for all those loyal season ticket holders who are subjected to these cry baby, I remember TO from last year whining about not getting the ball; real team player this one. And when the ball did come his way, he dropped it half the time. I could go on but I have ranted enough. Besides, we have “big money” Chris Johnson to watch all season long… Oh well. Maybe there's something on Animal Planet.

You mean that TO is too naive to know how a condom works? That's pretty naive. It doesn't take much savvy to figure out how to get knocked up by a rich guy when he's too dumn to put on a jacket.

Of course he wants lower child support payments.  Savvy women leech off of naive athletes by using them as "child donors," then steal most of their money, calling it "child support."  When the athlete no longer makes a ton of money, he is still expected to pay the same amount in "child support," even though he is only earning a mere fraction of what he made as a professional athlete.

With all of T.O's talent he could have been one of the best yet he could never gain the team concept.  Had he developed into that player, the all around 'good' guy every team wanted him to be he would probably still be playing. Now he is just the guy everyone love's to hate and now have the last laugh. It's too bad I still love his clutch performance TD against Green Bay but that just grew his ego!!

Why is this a big deal? Men ask to have Child support lowered all the time when they lose a job or start making less than they were before. Even if they have the kids more than half time. T.O. isn't working and will probably be retiring soon, I'm sure anyone could have seen this one coming. Can we get to a real news story?<br />

 Making light of someone being mentally ill enough to potentially their life is not something to make jokes about.

How does one potentially one's life, I wonder? Anyway, lighten up. If anything, TO made himself into a joke, not me. And how is he a "legend"? Being a great player in a TEAM sport like football is about more than just athletic ability. Let's see, you have to:
1) Help your team win (uh, sorry TO)
2) Make the difficult plays when it counts (strike 2)
3) By into the team concept or just be a team player (heh, heh, heh, hahahahahahahaha!)
If this idiot makes the hall of fame before, say, Hines Ward, I might try to OD on painkillers.

TO is a total jerk.  He's selfish, he's incredibly rude and dismissive to anybody who's not in his inner circle, and as it's known he's a complete cancer in the locker room.  That being said, it's still sad if this stuff is true.  Being hard up for money and suicidal is no way for a legend to end his career.

Somehow I don't feel too sorry for TO. First of all, good for the woman who decline to reschedule the child support hearing. Obviously TO didn't think it was that important to begin with and now has to pay for it. Learn to set your priorities dude. Secondly, when he was at the top of his game, he thought he was bigger than the game and now he is learning the hard way, no team wants him anymore, now, that is sad as I thought for sure some team will pick him up. I still think he is better than some of the receivers in the NFL but I guess no team wants to deal with the drama he'll bring to the teams.
