SuhPosted by Josh Katzowitz

Ndamukong Suh had his meeting with commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday, and he’s taken to his Facebook page to tell you all about it.

It seems to have gone very well indeed.

"I am very appreciative of the opportunity to sit and speak with the Commissioner and his staff to clarify a few questions about my play, and the game in general,” Suh wrote. “I have gained a better understanding how I need to play the game to help my team win.

“I look forward to the rest of the season and the doing everything we can to bring the Lombardi Trophy to Detroit."

Suh has been characterized as a dirty player (probably because he’s seemingly always trying to rip off the other quarterback’s face), and he’s been hit hard by fines -- which is why he asked to meet with Roger Goodell. He wanted to get clarification on why his style of play has led to so many personal fouls and fines. Now, apparently he’s got it.

“We appreciate that Ndamukong Suh, Coach (Jim) Schwartz, and team president Tom Lewand took the time to meet with us today,” Goodell said in a statement. “Ndamukong plays the game with great skill and passion and is a major reason for the Lions’ success this year. We reviewed video showing that he has clearly made the adjustments to play consistently within the rules so that he can continue to help the team. We commend Ndamukong’s leadership in taking the initiative to schedule today’s meeting.”

Glad to see Suh and the NFL are, once again, BFFs. Opposing quarterbacks can only hope those good feelings last.

Suh, Goodell make up during meeting

Vikings defensive end undoubtedly will receive a hefty fine from the NFL for his kick to Packers guard 's groin in Sunday's game. In the meantime, Robison is paying a price in the court of public opinion.

It seems many people are divided on the Cutler shove or forearm...fine. It doesn't make either side of this morons or liars. You've got some venom bro.

The super bowl the Jets won was awesome by the way...woohoo!

Suh, Goodell make up during meeting

Another homer talking nonsense. What the fk does it matter if it was preseason and the hit on Cutler was not a
SHOVE from behind he threw a forearm/elbow at him and the ref flagged him and showed what he did when he
penalized him.

The hit on Delhomme was against the rules, but you are lying (again) about the hit on Cutler. go to the .45 mark and educate yourself - if you can get past your own bias that is.

You and the OTHER HOMERS Along with Schwartz and Suh is why people are sick and Tired of the LIONS,
you people can not see what really is going on,A guy throws a forearm you say it is a push.

What people (besides yourself)?

I really don't care what he does this is football, but the Lions are still the Joke of football,And their fans
are the same.

dozens of posts everyday, often into the wee hours of the morning suggest otherwise.

Suh, Goodell make up during meeting

Seems like you do most of the Lions hating on here 8Ball. You're all over every thread about the Lions. If you read my post, or maybe I wasn't being clear enough; the Delhomme hit was a LOT of games ago. I didn't discount it because it was preseason, my point is that maybe he's learned something since then. And the Cutler push was a push, watch the replay.  I haven't seen him stomp a face, kick a guy in the nuts, and so many other things I see every weekend in the NFL.

Suh, Goodell make up during meeting

Suh's effort to take in an adoring public will not work.  His grandstanding on the field of play is now surpassed by his grandstanding to get an audience with Goodell.  I wouldn't trust Suh as far as he can throw Tony Romo.
