If you happened to be the recipient of “Dreads on a Stick” -- and really, shouldn’t we all be so lucky -- and thought Titans running back Chris Johnson was making any money off it, you could very well be incorrect. And that doesn’t make Johnson very happy.

According to TMZ, the product is designed as a wig so Johnson supporters can imitate the style of his hair, and though Johnson’s name and image apparently are being used to sell the product, Johnson said he is in no way involved.

"My lawyers on are on it ... the site has already been shut down ... and I'm investigating to see if these guys made any money off of this deceptive scheme,” Johnson told TMZ.

But the creators of the product have a different story to tell.

They’ve told BlackSportsOnline that their company has been involved with Johnson and his business team for the past six months, and they will seek legal remedies against Johnson and his business partner “for serious physical threats of harm made to us.”

Chris Johnson fighting for integrity of his hair

Another Chris Johnson story which has very little relelvance to football...I'm not thrilled with his performance, or the money the Titans gave him, but that's their problem. Does anyone really care about CJ2K or No K this year and his hair? I don't think so.

Perhaps he may want to put a little more time studying the integrity of the game he plays for a living.  Rediculously overpaid this year, and verging on being the bust of the year - aside from the entire Eagles team.

Is this guy a football player or a Gansta rapper

Nice hair, nice gold teeth. Why don't you worry about how much you suck on the football field and not what your fans are doing. The Titans were idiots to pay this piece of %^&.

Hey Chris, haven't you gotten enough money this year to last you a through a lifetime? Now you need to seek reparations from this site for people that are trying to SUPPORT you, even though you are playing like a bum this year? It's called a PR rep, get one immediately.

Doesn't half the NFL have dreads nowadays. How does he know those are the likeness of his dreads? Hate this dude anyway. Got his money and underperformed. Not to mention I had the second pick in fantasy and I got stuck with the loser.

You can pay some RB's big money, like Adrian Peterson, who shows work ethic and desire to get better, but not a guy like this, complain about the contract then come back not ready to play.  Got paid, that's all that matters, right!??!?.
