Without LaDainian Tomlinson dressed for the game , it was imperative that Jets running back Shonn Greene stay effective and stay healthy. For now, the latter might keep him from accomplishing the former.

After making a four-yard reception late in the first quarter in which he was hit by two Broncos defenders, Greene was shaken up and eventually slowly walked off the field. After he was examined by trainers on the sideline, Greene was taken to the locker room. He is now questionable to return with a ribs injury.

Joe McKnight has taken his place in the Jets offensive backfield, and Bilal Powell also is available.

Shonn Greene (ribs) questionable to return

McKnight might be huge for the Jets now. He can run and catch out of the backfield.  Might end up being a better play than Greene, if he gets a shot

Shonn Greene (ribs) questionable to return

Come on Greene you got to be kidding me! There was actually no real contact on the play and you out with a rib injury! What a joke and waste of a fantasy pick! Greene had his chance to shine and pretty much go solo with LT out but as usual he back up to his some old BUST ways. He is done in NY and this will be his last season in NY! He is just not the back that everybody expected to see out of Iowa! He just cant cut it at the NFL level period!! He may be able to make it as a backup somewhere. But he is not the bell cow that we all expect to see!! He is just not that guy and a huge disappointment every season and year after year!
