We probably won't know Ndamukong Suh's fate until Monday or Tuesday, but that doesn't mean it's still not one of the biggest stories of Week 12. Suh, one of the Lions' best players, was ejected from the Thanksgiving Day game against the Packers for stomping on Green Bay guard Evan Dietrich-Smith's arm.

On Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Suh is expected to be suspended for at least two games.

Is Ndamukong Suh dirty?

After the his ejection Thursday, Suh offered up a lame excuse for his actions before apologizing a day later on his Facebook page.

Suh said he's now ready to move on from the incident.

"I want to reiterate my commitment to working to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field. My reaction on Thursday was unacceptable. I made a mistake, and have learned from it. I hope to direct the focus back to the task at hand — by winning," Suh wrote on Facebook.

But it's not enough to just say you're sorry and you're ready to get on with the rest of your life. In addition to how severely the NFL will punish him, there are also concerns in the Lions' locker room about Suh's antics. Specifically, some of his teammates are also tired of it. NFL Network's Jason La Canfora confirmed as much during Sunday's NFL GameDay Morning.

"The interesting thing, there are people in his own locker room that think [a suspension's] called for," La Canfora said.

Does a reported two-game punishment fit the crime? No idea. (Worth noting: CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman warns that, given NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's history of suspending players, we shouldn't expect a huge punishment for Suh.) But if it's to the point where Suh's teammates are fed up, then maybe a stiffer sanction will have a better chance of getting through to him, and in his words, help him "to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field."

Dam Suh is a thug, a miscreant, and a tool. His bad behavior on the field is worse than if he had was caught behaving badly off the field because he knows the cameras are on him when he steps onto the field. The last time a Nebraska player was so hated and reviled was when Lawrence Phillips was causing trouble. Phillips was out of control and no one did anything about it. Eventually, his actions ended the brilliant career of a Hall of Fame QB. (Phillips missed a block and allowed another tool, Aeneas Williams to level Steve Young even though Young did not have the ball anymore. Young suffered a severe concussion and never played again). When the 49ers signed Williams a few years after Williams tried to level another 49ers QB...in practice.

Anyhow..Dam Suh needs to be dealt with severely because right now the whole nation is rooting for the Lions (myself included), but if Suh's bad behavior continues then the whole country will think that Suh is not the only player playing dirty and that the coaching must be bad too. The last time the Lions had such bad coaching was when Marty Mohrninweg was the Head Coach and Matt Millen was drafting recievers in the first round. The Lions have a cancer in their midst. They need to excise this pile of garbage soon before it affects the rest of the team.

Why wasn't Woodson suspended for punching a Saint on week one? If you would like to see the definition of "pushing off", check out Finley's reception to start the second half against the Lions (nothing called of course). If you would like to see the definition of pass interference, check out Green Bay's Monday night game versus the Vikings (nothing called of course). Refs lovin' the Pack this year ... it's getting ridiculous.

WOW, all you guys are funny with your Million dollar fines and 10 game suspension! I mean really??? You'd think he's kicking guys every week. Wasn't it just a few weeks ago that Minnesota player kicked a guy in the crotch and he didn't even get suspended...just a fine! And what about Haynesworth? Kicked a guy in the HEAD and got five games. What Suh did was no doubt very stupid, a hefty fine and a couple games with a stiff warning of what will happen to him next should be more than enough!!

Three games off without pay should send a fairly strong message to Mr. Suh. Would be nice if he owned up to the stomping as a personal failure instead of the sorry excuses he's so far put forward...
