We probably won't know Ndamukong Suh's fate until Monday or Tuesday, but that doesn't mean it's still not one of the biggest stories of Week 12. Suh, one of the Lions' best players, was ejected from the Thanksgiving Day game against the Packers for stomping on Green Bay guard Evan Dietrich-Smith's arm.

On Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Suh is expected to be suspended for at least two games.

Is Ndamukong Suh dirty?

After the his ejection Thursday, Suh offered up a lame excuse for his actions before apologizing a day later on his Facebook page.

Suh said he's now ready to move on from the incident.

"I want to reiterate my commitment to working to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field. My reaction on Thursday was unacceptable. I made a mistake, and have learned from it. I hope to direct the focus back to the task at hand — by winning," Suh wrote on Facebook.

But it's not enough to just say you're sorry and you're ready to get on with the rest of your life. In addition to how severely the NFL will punish him, there are also concerns in the Lions' locker room about Suh's antics. Specifically, some of his teammates are also tired of it. NFL Network's Jason La Canfora confirmed as much during Sunday's NFL GameDay Morning.

"The interesting thing, there are people in his own locker room that think [a suspension's] called for," La Canfora said.

Does a reported two-game punishment fit the crime? No idea. (Worth noting: CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman warns that, given NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's history of suspending players, we shouldn't expect a huge punishment for Suh.) But if it's to the point where Suh's teammates are fed up, then maybe a stiffer sanction will have a better chance of getting through to him, and in his words, help him "to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field."

redwings1969, I've seen a couple of those one sided debates you've had with him...good stuff!! I just wish there was a way I could just block that moron so I don't have to read his ignorant dribble...which unfortunatley I'm drawn to like a fly to fly paper! And I think because I'd really just like to choke the dude!!

Yeah, I just seen that redwings1969!! lol

I was gonna try to break it down for him, but that idiot isn't worth my time...he's a real peice of work there!!

Man, I don't know if you realize how nuts this brian8ball guy really is.  Unfortunately I lowered myself and fell into his trap arguing with him for a long time in a million threads he follows me into, but I think it's time to give up on that clown.   I honestly think he might be clinically insane... really.  Read some of the stuff below he's told me... and I'm serious about all of it... it's crazy.

When the Tigers picked up Fister, Brian8ball told us Fister sucks because his win/loss record sucks.  When I told him Seattle averaged one run in support on average his last 10 starts before he got traded, he said that didn't matter and that good pitchers win games. So when Verlander won 24 games, the Cy Young and MVP he told me Verlander only won his games because he's in the Central division so the amount of wins suddenly don't matter.

He also told me he'd much rather have Mark Sanchez in New York and told me Stafford is "terrible" because Sanchez has won playoff games.  When I said that was only because the Jets were really good, he said no.  He said Stafford was terrible......

And now he's comparing linebackers and defensive ends to defensive tackles.....  WOW....

LOL

brian8ball os TrixieNY or whoever you are....Jared Allen plays DE you moron! Give itup dude, seriosly!!

Did you see his response to what you said?  He researched and listed about 25 defensive ends and linebackers for you to compare with Suh, a defensive tackle.  This Brian8ball guy thinks a defensive tackle is supposed to get sacks like linebackers and ends do.

What is he doing on football threads?  LOL

WOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

9. Ndamukong Suh, DET
10. Cliff Avril, DET
11. Charles Johnson,
12. Mario Williams, HOU
13. Carlos Dunlap, CIN
14. Chris Clemons, SEA
15. Jason Babin, TEN
16. Justin Smith, SF
17. Kyle Williams, BUF
18. Kyle Vanden Bosch, DET

22. Will Smith, NO
23. Dwight Freeney, IND
24. Chris Long, STL
25. John Abraham, ATL

WOW... you really don't know football do you? Almost EVERYBODY you listed is a defensive end or linebacker.  Kyle Williams on Buffalo is a tackle who has 13 sacks in 83 NFL games which by the way isn't that bad for a tackle.  Now imagine how tough it is for Suh to have 13 or so already in his career in less then 30 games.

Do you HONESTLY think a defensive tackle should get as many sacks as a linebacker or defensive end?

Boy.... you don't know football.  Stick to your Yankees .... baseball maybe, but football isn't for you man.

The bottom line is he has 3 sacks.

That's like saying a DB isn't as good as somebody else if they have less interceptions when in fact a guy can be so good people rarely throw is way... like Revis in New York and a couple others.  Suh is double and triple teamed, he's not gonna get the sacks he got.  But people don't design plays to run at him, they avoid him.  And it opens things up for the rest of the Lions d-line......  he's a monster player.   And anybody that knows ANYTHING about the NFL knows that defensive TACKLES don't usually get the sacks defensive ENDS and linebackers get.  Suh's 10 sacks last year don't happen very often for tackles,,, it's rare as hell.

The NFL is about entertainment and making money. The executives, owners, players, and fans all appreciate a good product to both sell and support. Suh is not unique in the NFL. There have been many players just like him since the beginning of professional football and some even worse: Conrad Dobler, Jack Tatum, Steve Wisniewski, Charles Martin, Bill Romanowski, and Rodney Harrison. However, most of the aforementioned players played before the age of modern technology. Today, we as television viewers get to see the game played on our HD TV's while the networks use reverse-angle super-slow motion and aerial field cameras to broadcast every detail of a game. During the games we are constantly fed streaming video to our home computers, phones, and various devices not to mention the social network media. So when someone, anyone does something good or bad on the field we all get to see it immediately. Now Suh's behavior may be offensive to many viewers and certainly not something you want your child to emmulate but the "drama" sells. Should Suh be fined, and or punished? According to the rules of the NFL and the general public, yes. But again the NFL is about entertainment.
