The following video isn’t NFL-related, but it is pro football related. And hell, it’s just kind of (pick your adjective) … awesome, sad, scary, completely rewatchable … that it needed to be posted as soon as possible.

Below is what happened at a Canadian Football League legends luncheon last Friday, two days before the Grey Cup. According to Yahoo Sports’ CFL writer Andrew Bucholtz, it features a fight between 73-year-olds, former Hamilton Tigers-Cats defensive tackle Angelo Mosca and former B.C. Lions quarterback Joe Kapp. The two have a bad history together going all the way back to 1963 when, in the Grey Cup, Mosca knocked out B.C. running back Willie Fleming with a controversial hit.

Hamilton won that game 21-10, and apparently, Mosca and Kapp* never got over their differences. If you watch the video below (which features some NSFW language), you can see that clearly, as Kapp goes to hand Mosca flowers, Mosca responds by saying, “Stick it up your ass,” Kapp hits him in the shoulder with a microphone, Mosca takes a swing at him with his cane, and Kapp responds with a straight right to Mosca’s face.

*Kapp also played four years in the NFL with the Vikings and Patriots, including leading Minnesota to a Super Bowl IV loss against the Chiefs.

No matter the adjective you use, it’s freakin’ crazy.

LOL. Joe kicked the fat old geezer's azz! They should have let Joe pound on him a while. If he has thoughts of using his cane as an excuse, he shouldn't have used it as a weapon. Apparently, Mosca was known as a dirty player and Joe never forgot he injured a teammate. Good for Joe...always a hell of a leader.

Seemed reasonable to me.  You swing a cane, you deserve some knuckles.  Both of them were old, so it was even.  No harm done.  Being in the audience live would have been awkward though.

Awesome! Mosca shouldn't run his mouth. You swing a cane you deserve to have you dentures knocked out. Goooo Joe!

Mosca also hit Kapp with an iffy shot during that game too. This kind of resentment also festers in the NHL too, there was an ex-Hab Kenny Reardon who was hated by a Maple Leaf player too and they wouldn`t talk to each other for years. They had to kept apart at reunions etc. because this would have happened between them too. Mosca was wrestler after his CFL career ended and was always a bad guy there. I don`t have a problem with this, there`s some people from my past who also deserve a shot in the head.

What a couple of nice shots by the two old men. What a nice time to get in their excercise and get that blood pumping and flowing properly! What a site to see and it definitely woke us all up!~

That was freaking awesome. The Nancy Football League should learn from their northern counterparts.
