We've been sitting here wondering what the Tim Tebow saga's missing. It's not a Saturday Night Live skit -- we've got plenty of those. It's not over-hyping from the media; we've got that. (And, yes, guilty. Whatevs.)

Perhaps it's a lack of opinions from prominent, low-end long-shot Republican Presidential candidates? No, Rick Perry already took care of that. OK, so the Tebow saga isn't missing anything other than some quiet time. But Sarah Palin commented on Tebow recently and gosh darnit, it's just too quotable to leave it alone. Sorry in advance.

"Oh you know I am so pro-Tebow," Palin said on Fox News. "You know, he is unashamed of his savior, Jesus of Nazareth. He knows that Jesus is going to rock your world when you give it all over to him and he's bold about it. And he knows that the son of God should be honored and praised and Tebow does that and I respect it."

First of all, let me just say that, you know, I get a real kick out of transcribing Sarah Palin quotes. Secondly, "Jesus will rock your world" would go well on a stenciled, tie-dyed t-shirt from Wings.

Or, alternately, it could be the celebration/slogan of "Not-Quite-Evil Tebow," the NWA Hulk Hogan version of Tim that will evolve when John Elway turns his back on the quarterback in 2017, only to have Tebow take over for the Los Angeles Jaguars who moved to the AFC West just a year before.

Wait, what are we talking about again?

I saw the acronym on the podium and thought "ripoff"- a perfect description of Sarah Palin.  I wonder what Tebow thinks of this endorsement?

I'm sure Tebow disapproves of Palin's having pre-marital sex with basketball players message. Not to mention Bristol Palin's "don't be stupid and have a baby you will end up despising like I did" message.

I can't wait until 5yrs from now and Sarah Palin is an unrecognizable name. Why are idiots attracted to Jesus like bugs to a nightlight? Poor Tim. He'll get it some day.

Poor Tebow , having his name side by side with this dim wit.    This will probably make him tone it down a bit though

Sarah Palin approves of Tim Tebow's message

As in, Why was this even posted? Congrats on maintaining the tremendously low standard of quality blogs on CBS Sports.com It amazes me what this site considers news worthy. Hulk, Palin, Jesus, Tebow, Perry, a non-existent NFL team and SNL all combined in five paragraphs. . Mr. Brinson, if you think you are clever or witty you are mistaken sir! Please waste no more of my time with such garbage.

For real, why go out of your way to be a hater. When did it become cool to treat people like crap. It's interesting to me that people will be jerks when they can be do so without being face to face with someone or speak rudely of people if they don't have to be accountable for said rudeness. If you don't like someones politics, talk about that. (Though not here) if you don't think Tebow can play, say that. But taking personal shots at people just so you can look smart, or because you can that's very big bull or rude girl grade school, then again maybe that's where they learned it...
