As selected by the players, coaches and fans (all accounted for 1/3 of the final tally), here are this year's AFC and NFC Pro Bowl teams. The game will be played in Hawaii on Jan. 29, 2012, and though this roster most likely will turn over a few times (and alternatives will be added to the list to fill out the roster), it's still an honor for anybody's name to be included on this list.

The 2012 Pro Bowl teams unveiled

What? Packers with three defensive starters and Patriots with two? Two of the worst defenses in the NFL, but five Pro Bowlers between them? Meanwhile, the Steelers have one?

Patrick Peterson of the Cardinals is a great kick returner; however, naming him to the Pro Bowl over Devin Hester of the Bears is a joke.  Hester is the greatest kick returner of all time and proved it once again this season.

How can the fans overlook Victor Cruz? He only got a chance to jump from a PTP'er ( props to Dick Vitale) due to an injury to Domenik Hixon. Steve Smith was a fool to jump to the "dream team" in Philly but it gave the guy with the best preseason in NYG history last year to crack the lineup. He will end up playing in the game since the players on the best teams will be playing in the Super Bowl. The NFL should name him to their All-Pro team which is validation enough for a player.

I think it was that girly Salsa touchdown dance that cost Victor Cruz the votes.

i am laughing my ass off on your comments.   that was great.  eli is so overated but he did lead me to a fantasy championship on fox sports because i had mccoy, jones drew, jennings, gronkowski, jimmy graham, gotskowski, janikowski, steelers defense along with 49ers, and i almost forgot,  welker and aj green and roddy white.   hell i could have started a pet monkey at QB and won.

i am still laughing my ass off.   how big was the donkey.   dew_amped 88     that was hilarious

NFC QB's should be Rodgers (#1), Brees (#2), and either Stafford - or yes, even Cam Newton would be more deserving than Eli Manning...that's definitely a head-scratcher!!!  I can't see good enough justification for Manning...he just doesn't have the "WOW!" factor Stafford (10 more TD's than Eli) and Newton (for breaking the rookie passing mark + nearly 700 rushing yards) had this year.  Both Eli and Cam had two 400-yd games and 16 INT's....but Stafford was hands-down the most productive in this group.
