NFL weighs in on Joe Paterno's passing

I see that there are idiots in all walks of life making comments as if they had a ringside seat in the going on at Penn State. If that was the case, you should be a witness at the eventual trial that would take place. A few know nothing and pretend that they know everything. I see that, as I have read some of the posting on this board by these idiots. Some of some posters that are posting negative comments about a man that has steered many a young man in the right direction both on and off the football field would not be half the man this icon is nor a bad pip on his A$$. I just hope the individuals that are judging a man’s life is judged the same as they enter the stage that coach Joe is now in. These that are judging should try to make an impact on the lives of their children as oppose to making negative comments about the life of Coach Joe. Even if Coach Joe did make mistakes in this incident, you are not the judge and jury. A man is normally judge by his life work, not just a single incident in his life. I want to make it perfectly clear that Coach Joe was and is a hero of mine. Penn State played SC in the 2009 Rose Bowl. I wanted to see if there was an opportunity of me meeting this man and taking a picture with him. I was able to get the picture and found coach Joe to be gracious and a very humble man. He spoke to me and took the picture with me after a loss, even with me having my SC “T” shirt on. I wish Coach Joe’s family good will as well as his extended family at Penn State the best in this time of great grieve and sorrow. Forget the idiots that are posting on this and other boards, they have no respect for a great man, meaning they have no respect for themselves as they would never be as great as he was.. “ONE MAN’S OPINION”

NFL weighs in on Joe Paterno's passing

It's amazing how many people believe that they are Saints and have lived a pristine and perfect life, never making any mistakes or bad judgements. In other words so many hypocrites. We're human and make mistakes or use bad judgements. I'm not a PSU lover or hater, but I do that JoePa will meet his maker and be judged by how he lived his ENTIRE life. RIP coach. Haters, this is the wrong day for trash talking.

I don't why, but so many Philly and Pittsburgh fans carry a vegeance and hate that is such a disgrace to all the goof JoePa did.  He wasn't the accused, yet people on here judge like they are so righteous.  These are the same people who drive by after a serious accident and refuse to help.  It is simply disgusting and disgraceful some of the comments.  Definitely, tasteless.  Less ye judge, or ye be judged!  And don't tell me you have handled every situation perfectly.  Look in the mirror before judge a man who you don't even know.

YAWN  Pats-Racvens game is way more important than this.
YAWN, more ignorant drivel from yet another fat P.O.S. Steelers fan.  It's no coincidence you're in the same state as Eagles fans.  It's best to herd the same types of animals inside the same fence.  I'm so glad I moved out of PA...

R.I.P. Joe Paterno.
