We have approximately 290 hours to fill between now and the kickoff for Super Bowl XLVI. Which means that we'll cover every conceivable storyline, probably multiple times, just to make sure you don't miss anything. But before we look ahead, let's take a look back and some of the best finishes in Super Bowl history.

Super Bowl XXIII, Bengals-49ers

Super Bowl XXXVI, Patriots-Rams

Super Bowl XXXVIII, Panthers-Patriots

Super Bowl XLIII, Steelers-Cardinals

And, of course (don't call it a rematch!)…

Super Bowl XLII, Giants-Patriots

Feel free to vote for your favorite finish in the poll below or let us know what you think in the comments.

What about Elways last drive at GB. Perfect plays not throw it up in the air Eli somebody might make the play for you. HOW do define Eli Mannings performance on that drive. The luckiest  SB QB of all time...

It had to be Brady either game  or Montana they were all perfect plays the whole way down the field. The Giants was the luckiest one I have ever seen. Eli had 3 balls that should have been picked. You talk about hanging up some Prayers. WOW!!! There are not that many prayers going on in a church on Sunday.

Denver vs. Pack finish was very good, but not nearly as suspensful or historically significant as Giants vs. Pats.

Where the heck is Denver beating Green Bay? Great final touchdown then a Favre drive that he couldn't finish. John Elway's first Super Bowl. C'mon!!!!

I don't know why I keep getting bad ratings. That last Giants drive was so suspenceful. Eli almost got picked twice and almost fumbled once. Completed a miracle scramble and catch, while an undefeated team shooting for perfection failed to execute down the stretch. Even if I was not a Giants fan, I would still objectively pick this ending as the best ever.

BTW, in case anybody wonders what I am talking about when I refer to the great ending of Steelers vs. Cards, just look on youtube for videos of why Cards should have won the SB. One foot is on the ground and the other foot is on top of the first foot and not touching the ground.

How can you not chose an underdog 10 and 6 team who won 3 road games in a row beating an undefeated team in the final game of the season in a huge upset as the best game ever? Especially given the miracle Eli scramble out of the sack and a miracle helmet catch by Tyree. Plus, zoom in shots of Steelers win over Cards shows that WR'ers both feet were not in. There is no disputing the outcome of Giants vs. Pats and no controversy.

Does everybody forget Super Bowl XXXIV - Rams vs Titans - with the Titans being stopped just short of the goal line on the final play?
This is a list of game winning drives, not best finishes. I was confused as well because I would have had a tough time deciding between that game and Super Bowl 42.

I gotta be honest swillins.... I would be inclined to agree with you based on the points you made, but I'm from Boston and if word got it I might be ex-communicated.  As much as that game stung, it was a truly amazing victory for the giants.  And having a TD as your only option only adds to it.  The one reason I might argue the pats rams game is bc Brady was only starting like his 7th game or somethin.  Bledsoe was the franchise qb and as every1 knows Brady was just some shmuck the pats took in the 5th round and the fact that he had no business being talked about in the same breathe as Montana and Elway etc made it all the more so impressive.  Like I said, you made some great points and If someone asked me where I ranked the giants win I would just say Top 2!! haha.
