INDIANAPOLIS -- If you're like us, you've been wondering exactly what songs Madonna would play at halftime of the Super Bowl. Sure, there's been some chatter about the various numbers she'll drop, but nothing official.

However, for our Sunday afternoon flight to Indy, we picked up a copy of the new NFL Magazine and three songs are confirmed by the league in a blurb about the Material Girl: "Gimme All Your Luvvin," "Ray of Light," and "En Vogue."

"Though Madonna's set list was not officially announced at press time, fans might expect her to give all her luvvin', provide a ray of light and be in vogue with her music," the magazine reads. "The Super Bowl is almost a national holiday, after all."

Though we wholeheartedly agree about the holiday aspect of things, we're kind of unsure exactly what that has to do with Madonna playing a new single.

Whatever, we appreciate the NFL dropping some nuggets in the magazine, which was a pretty enjoyable read. Also, for those that hadn't noticed yet, Madonna's going to have the people from Circque du Soleil with her. That alone's worth the price of admission.

Oh yeah, and if you can still get odds on what song Madonna's playing first, you might want to hustle up on that.

That is your opinion Funny I saw her in concert as well and do not have the same opinion In fact she will put on a great half time show probably a lot better than some of the others in the past.

Halftime is when I take the dogs out.  There is no way I would sit and watch this nonsense.  For those that like it, good for you.  I do not understand how watching an old washed up singer lip sinc to old music is considered entertainment, but to each his own.

The Queen...

The NFL- and viewers- are fortunate to have the most important and revered female performer of the last 20 years perform at halftime. The stats are all wel land nice, but what some may not realize is jusat how much Madonna and her music have been celebrated through the years, by consumers and critics alike. Furthermore, she has straddled art and commerce like few others, using music as a means to tackle gender, racial, religious, sexual and social mores like nobody's business. She's a capable live singer- it's never beern about the voice, after all (look at the big-voiced acts whose material isn't exactly highly regarded), but the whole package.

As for the article- it's "Vogue," not "En Vogue"- the latter is a female R&B trio. Laughing And, it's possible the other two tracks hiunted at are "Music" and "Holiday."

Ok, well maybe she is a decent singer, but she is certainly not attactive. Maybe they could have gone younger and got someone like Selina Gomez, or they could have done a cast ensemble and had the people from that show on the Disney Channel or the other people from that other show on Nickelodeon? That's what I'm sayin, then Madonna could have showed up and played the mom part. She would have been a big time special guest. But she didn't have to be the main attraction. 20 years ago, I'd have said yes, she can be the main attraction.

Trouper, the reason they have 50+ year olds is because of the Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction."  Ever since that happened, they have selected older artists to perform at the Super Bowl.  That is why you should not expect Lady Gaga to perform there anytime soon either.  ANd to everyone else complaining, at least it is NOT Justin Bieber or the Jonas Brothers doing the show.  I like Madonna's older music so I am surprised by some of these song choices.  I understand Vogue, but not the rest of them.  Just hope she puts on a good show.

Madonna is horrendous. Very unattractive and a very bad singer. The NFL makes some pretty bad decisions for halftime entertainment. She's probably Goodells favorite singer.
