Earthly temptations do not affect Tim Tebow

Quarterback Tim Tebow concluded a whirlwind season on January 14 when the Denver Broncos lost to the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisonal playoffs. Four days later, he was at staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas for a Nike shoot. (Technically, the Hard Rock is in Paradise, Nevada, which includes much of the Strip, the airport and the aforementioned hotel.)

Innocuous enough except that, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Norm Clarke, the Hard Rock was hosting the Adult Video News Awards at the same time. (Possibly awkward, yes, but also a great premise for a bad sitcom that'll miraculously enjoy success despite much scrutiny, outrage and mock indignation from critics.)

Clarke breathlessly writes that "Veteran casino host Steve Cyr told a Las Vegas radio station on Friday that he saw the Denver Broncos quarterback walking through the casino the day the four-day Adult Entertainment Expo opened."

Scandalous.

Luckily, Tebow, whose religious beliefs were often a bigger story last season than his ability to make it as an NFL quarterback, didn't succumb to earthly temptations.

More Clarke: "A second source said Tebow, who was reportedly in town for a Nike shoot, stayed in a Hard Rock penthouse 'most of the time.'"

In a radio interview, Cyr noted that Tebow, his brother, and three friends did emerge from their rooms long enough to take in Cirque du Soleil's "O" at The Mirage, but Tebow didn't drink and "tipped well."

Which, we'd imagine, makes up a typical night out on the town for Tebow. The lesson: What stays in Vegas is not as important as what stays next door to you in Vegas.

Thankfully, Tebow emerged from Sin City unscathed. He was courtside at the Nuggets game Sunday night.

Earthly temptations do not affect Tim Tebow

I am so tired of all the Tebow mania articles. Give it a rest already. The Super Bowl is upon us and every Sports network is still raving about one of the worst starting QB’s in the league! So Tim Tebow is a great man who believes in God and has morals. God Bless him but It does not change the fact that he is a below average Quarterback that will never start another playoff game again in his career unless he changes positions and moves to Running back! Move on sports writers………&hel
lip;….!!

Cirque du Soleil's "O" at The Mirage?

Wow, Tebow is amazing. He was able to see "O" at the Mirage, even though "O" is at the Bellagio.

Who let's this idiot write?

Are things that slow that the media has to bring this up? Who cares what Tebow does during the off season.

Actually, the best part of the article are some of the comments.  Go back and read a few of them.  They're a riot.

Earthly temptations do not affect Tim Tebow

SO ... there is a Super Bowl or something going on this week, right?!?! WHY!? WHY!?! WHY!?!? Must people continue to write or talk about this hack!?!? This fad better go away soon for the love of GOD. This guy is a good athelete and quite the humanitarian from what I have been forced to hear on talk radio for the last two years BUT he is BELOW average at best running a team as a QB. Please stop talking about this guy at least until camps open up next year and then talk about him all you want. Just sayin'!

Earthly temptations do not affect Tim Tebow

This was a very wasteful article. This was as boring as anything can be. The highlight of this artcile was basically he had a boring night on the town.

Whoopdy doo!

Why would Tebow ever succmb to temtation? He doesn't need to with all the reacharounds, slurp jobs, and jock riding he gets from the national media and his quack, idolatrous followers.

No, I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.  And, isn't calling him "god" breaking the first commandment?  Yes, it is, but I don't give a crap.

Have you ever heard him speak in a press conference?  Me thinks he spent more time at football practice than class at Florida.

He should just go buy his gas station on a deserted highway and open his bible stand so we don't have to hear about him anymore.

Seriously, he blows at being an NFL QB and that's all I care about.  He really, really stinks at it and I could care less what he has for breakfast.  I wish he would go join Brett Favre and ride around on his tractor and shut up.
