The Atlanta Braves catcher  Brian McCann belted a three-run double in the seventh inning to lift the National League to a 3-1 win against the American League in the All-Star game snapping the AL's 13-game winning streak and if by chance the Atlanta Braves the current owners of the National League's best record win the  National League crown and advance to the World Series, they can thank Brian McCann for getting them home-field advantage when they get there.

A few good reasons why the Braves could in fact reach the world series.

Bobby Cox and the fact he is retiring.
The Braves pitching and team depth.
Jason Heyward
Tommy Hanson
Improve record on the Road
Stay Healthy

My question is will the Atlanta Braves be the NL team in this years world series, fact or fiction.

Atlanta Braves wins National League crown

As much as I would like to see them get there, I just dont think it will happen. The Braves have lost to many to the teams that they should beat, as well as a very inconsistent offense and pitching staff. Lately, even their defense has been shakey. This will be two years in a row that they have lost it at the end of the year if thats what happens. I think now we need some unexplainable stuff to happen in the braves favor. Cross the fingers.
