My favorite nickname that I have bestowed is Mr. February for Tom Brady of the New England Patriots. Why Mr. February? He was the first winning QB in a Super Bowl played in February and has since won two others and is playing for his fourth on February 3, 2008.

My Favorite Nickname

I'm more of a baseball and football fan than a basket ball fan, but there's no denying that the NBA has some of the best nicknames.  "The Truth" "The Answer" and "Vinsanity" are just a few of my favorites, but theres like millions of names.

My favorite was Ironhead Heyward.  I also had a cousin who's dad called him Ironhead.  They even put Ironhead on his tombstone.

Excellent observation. It looks like the Patriots and Tom Brady will probably win again this February, but we'll see. He is a very collected quarterback. Reminds me of Marc Bulger of the Rams - not flashy but gets the job done.
