The Peyton Hillis saga continues into Week 7, as the Browns running back will miss Cleveland's game against Seattle on Sunday.
Hillis suffered a hamstring injury during Week 6's 24-17 loss to the Raiders, but was (oddly) brought back into the game after getting hurt. The NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora originally reported that Hillis won't even suit up Sunday and the team confirmed that by listing him among the inactives for Sunday.
Cleveland's got themselves a bit of a trap game on Sunday -- they're the favorites to beat the Seahawks at home but Seattle's been frisky this year and the Browns have been, um, not very good.
And though Seattle's been pretty tough against the run so far this year, having Hillis would certainly help Cleveland's push to pick up a win and move to .500 on the year. Instead, Montario Hardesty will get the lion's share of carries on Sunday.
Instead, he'll be in street clothes and we'll probably be forced to endure another week of speculation about how tough Hillis is and whether or not the Browns actually want to give him a contract extension.
Oh right: and whether he could have played. That'll probably be an issue too.
