Indy owner Jim Irsay wants to send you (and a friend!) to Super Bowl XLVI. (Getty Images)

By Ryan Wilson

Colts owner Jim Irsay has taken time out of his busy schedule of remaking the franchise to offer you, humble NFL fan and Twitter consumer, a chance to win two Super Bowl tickets. All you have to do is correctly guess Indy's next head coach.

One word of warning, however:

If you predict Rob Lowe, I'll have to hunt you down like a rabid rat in the dark night and tease your kin and soak ur shoes n salted waters!

We have no idea what that means but it's enough to scare us into not typing "Rob Lowe" ever again. Literally (sorry, you knew that was coming). Alright, a sampling of what the Twitterverse has come up with...

Mike Vanderjagt resurfaces

Posted by Andy Benoit

Remember that idiot kicker for the Colts who got liquored up and questioned Peyton Manning’s toughness/will to win? After long being one of the most accurate kicker in NFL history, Mike Vanderjagt’s career spiraled downward after he missed a 46-yard field goal in the closing seconds of Indy’s divisional round loss to the Steelers back in the ’05 season.

A failed stint in Dallas led Vanderjagt back to his home country of Canada, where he kicked for the Toronto Argonauts in 2008.

Three years later, the 41-year-old Vanderjagt is getting back in the sport. Roger Lalonde of Marco News (Fla.) reports that Vanderjagt has been hired as the coach at Marco Island (Fla.) Academy. Vanderjagt, who resides in Marco, is tasked with building the school’s football program from scratch.

"Basically, coaching at this age is like an artist's version of a blank canvas," Vanderjagt said. "You can kind of mold them to be a good player because they have no preconceived notions in general about sports."

Vanderjagt has been trying to get into coaching for several years.

Hot Routes 2.1.11: Other NFL news

Posted by Josh Katzowitz

  • Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is a generous sort. Even though Cuban is a lifelong Steelers fans, he’ll even invite the Packers to his Saturday night party. With one caveat. It’s a 10-drink minimum.
  • Yahoo! Sports’ excellent The Postgame has a where-the-hell-are-they-now update on former Colts K Mike Vanderjagt.
  • An interesting piece by CNBC’s Darren Rovell about why he’s not covering the Super Bowl this year (even though he’ll be in Dallas the week of the game).
  • Sometimes reporters aren’t perfect. Just like you’re not perfect at your job. So, cut Peter King some slack. He’s one of the best.
  • If you’re headed to Dallas this weekend for the Super Bowl and you plan to spend money on memorabilia, make sure what you’re buying isn’t counterfeit. Because there’s a bunch of it out there.
  • The proposed stadium for L.A.’s NFL team (you know, assuming it comes to fruition) has a name (Farmers Field).
